I have a friend who's bet me 20 bones that Batman Begins and TDK are prequels to the other batman movies with clooney kilmer and keaton.
Now timewise yes, TDK and BB did happen before the others of the late 80s and 90s however, he claims that these new batmans are to the 80s and 90s batmans as the new star wars are to the old star wars. I think he's full of crap and is going to owe me 20 bucks.
What do you think?

I liked the old star war movies compared to the new prequels, just wish they had the tech back then, starwars are the opposite of the batman movies IMO. you know the batman new, being better than the old, if that makes sense.

yeah I know what you saying, but that's what I'm talking about, his stories back then were much better then the junk in some of his prequels, but if he could visualized the stories back then with the tech of today, would have been something to behold.

The Nolan movies are in a completely different universe from the Burton and Schumacher films. They are competely unrelated. Tell your friend to lay off the booze.
