Considering a Re-Watch of GOT

Who has done it and is it worth doing Knowing how bad it ends. I was thinking about stopping after season 6. What would you guys suggest

Stop at end of season 6. Book material runs out at end of season 5 and from there it gets worse and worse.

I did recently and still watch random episodes when going to bed.
Getting into after season 6 you start getting a little pissed off knowing what's coming, and then really pissed off as some of it unfolds and how dumb it is.

Do it. It’s still great. Everyone knows the bad parts near the end, but most of the awesome parts are still awesome. It’s still fantastic television. I also found on a rewatch that the last couple of seasons weren’t near as bad as I remembered and there were lots of great things that happened. I guess to put it another way, it’s less shocking now that you’ve seen how it ends. So you can sit back more and enjoy it for what it is.

I've rewatched seasons 1-4 several times. After that there's some high points sprinkled around but season 8 is still dogshit

Ive watched it through many times. Use it as background when Im working, etc. We all know when it starts to suck and if you know its coming you can ride it out or skip it. It’s so good before then, though, and honestly still better than most crap on TV even after it goes bad.

Seriously do it but stop when Dani is sailing to Westeros and dream up what you think happens.
Watch selective highlights of 7 & 8, when watched that way instead of collectively those seasons do have a couple good moments. But frick them otherwise

I always stop at season 6. 7 is worse in retrospect when you know what happens in 8.

I rewatched it right before the newer show came out on HBO/Max. I enjoyed all of it except for the last season.
