Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It

Still at work. Anyone checked this one out yet on HBO Max? Conjuring 1 and 2 were solid horror films. Add in the Annabelle film and The Nun; you have a solid horror ecosystem to draw from and build on.

I'll watch it sometime this weekend. I really enjoyed the first two, but I'm not expecting much from this one. James Wan isn't the director.

Not a big horror fan but I’ll likely check it out since it’s on HBO max

Like I’m not saying this will be a bad movie, but it has the title of an all time bad movie

Will watch tomorrow. Love the first two.
IMO C2 is the better overall movie though C1 has the most effective scene w/the clap clap game. Sadly the scene was somewhat spoiled by the previews that gave away the big scare moment from the sequence.

The Warren's book was called The Devil in Connecticut.

I love the first movie, but the small scenes with the Nun and the others with the crooked man were much more creepier than a more run of the mill baddie in a female spirit/ghost/demon.
Ill be watching this once it hits around midnight and Ive got a nice high going on. This is one of my most anticipated blockbuster movies of the year.

It was OK. The weakest of the 3 in my opinion, and 2 wasn't really that good. Annabelle is the superior series.

I was saying around midnight because it will be pitch black and I can sit in my chair alone with the dog, and get high and get scared(hopefully).

Wasn’t as good as the first two Conjuring movies but still a worthy addition and I’m hoping there will be a 4th

Conjuring universe films are popcorn horror, Hereditary is not.

Hereditary is more disturbing and psychologically abusing than it is scary. The Conjuring series are just run of the mill blockbuster jump scare horror, albeit pretty good.

I fell asleep after 30 minutes, was late though. I'll try to watch it again today. Huge fan of the first 2, hopefully I was just too tired.

Average at best. Not scary. Acted like a horror whodunnit minus the horror and mystery.
