He became "Hawk", but I have a hunch that before the series ends, he's gonna be no more intimidating than when he was Lip. Won't be surprised to see him get a chance to defend his girlfriend's honor, only to end up backing down and bawling like a baby instead...

Daniel's son is the biggest pansy ever which was hilarious to see.

I think Elisabeth Shue's character will come back

When Daniel roundhouse kicked the Boba Tea out of Cole's hand I knew....I KNEW, this show was better than Breaking Bad and The Wire.

Loved the show I just didn't like how they turned Miquel into the heal during the last few episodes. It was better when they had areas of gray and not black and white vs who is good and who is bad. The series made me love Johnny and hate Daniel btw.

Really? No blame on Daniel for not telling Robby, "You just dislocated your shoulder. You're not fighting." No such thing as bad student, only bad teacher. Daniel should have told him not to fight.
Of course, that makes for bad TV.

Maybe that will be a plot point in season 2

Could Terry Silver be Miguel's Dad?
Dear god that would be incredible
But that should be the season 3 story. Have season 2 focus on Kreese and how the dojo situation plays out with Johnny and Daniel sort of starting to get closer to teaming up, then introduce Silver in the finale the way they did this year. Then season 3 is straight up Johnny/Daniel vs Kreese/Silver
Such an awesome show
Not sure why but this legit made me laugh out loud

Finished it last night. Cheesy at times, but I absolutely love the show!
This show has to be boiling down to a rematch of the originals.

I just finished the series and I really enjoyed it.
Great job of call backs and expanding on the story. Enough nuggets to satisfy those of us who grew up watching it....yet it's definitely a modern show that older teens will like.
my biggest grip is that one fricking annoying friend of Miguels. I wanted him to die horribly

I just realized Johnny had to face another worm in Back to School after re-watching that movie.
Zabka was supposedly the bad guy in Karate Kid, Back to School and Just One of the Guys.

My 15 year old step daughter was into it even more than I was. She's already completed another rewatch.

My favorite line is when Johnny goes to Daniel's house and says:
"You still can't leave well enough alone."
The shows great because they heard the public and embraced the view that cultivated over the years that Daniel was the villain.
Because in the 80's - everyone was against Johnny. Then sentiment grew over time and especially with the Internet...that Daniel really was a worm.
