Yeah, it was smart, but it was also an easy out.

Neither Dustin/Jessica nor the new team that won were likely to come back and win another challenge, so Wes/Theresa were relatively safe from revenge.

It also did nothing to break up any potential alliances... he could have gone with the other Are You The One team, Jay/Jenna, or Thomas/Hailey and eliminated one rookie team right away.

He wants the 4 rookie teams on his side. It would be a smarter strategy in a Rivals II kind of game where numbers help. However he may have eliminated one of the two teams aligned with Bananas (the other being Leroy) due to the Dustin and Nany friendship.

If he gets the rookies and the Portland alliance plus CT (not knowing what happens to Diem), only 4 of the remaining 12 teams would even consider taking him out.

Yeah, I just don't see alliances being as big of a deal when one team is automatically in and the other is selected. There's no vote, and none of the rookie teams seem all that likely to win a challenge.

I could definitely see a few teams eager to send Wes in given the chance, so it might have been smarter to throw one of them in and hope they get eliminated. (Not Bananas though, since he can too easily manipulate the others...)

I wonder how exile will work on tv. It's hard enough to show a completion and elimination in an hour with 20 minutes of ads.

I can't imagine how they'll show none of the exile stuff on tv. Especially the competitions and eliminations, even the drama between the couples.

i think it matters a lot. he's not only in with the rookies just in case, but he is pretty much also aligning with jordan/sarah (since they are so anti bananas) which means jonny and averey as well. that makes 3 good teams and probably a decent effort from a rookie team will give them a solid 4 teams in an "alliance" that can actually win challenges.

zach, leroy, and knight pretty much all play without alliances. leroy and knight coast for a while due to being cool guys but not threats, and zach is pretty much gonna make the final or very close to it because he's fricking huge.

who does that leave? bananas, ct, and dustin. bananas and ct are not really aligned usually, but they just kinda let each other roll until the final or just before it when shite gets real. dustin is now in exile and ct is presumably about to leave.

bananas is now going to have to do some work getting leroy and zach to buy in because neither of them have to. that would be a great trio of teams though. gonna be interesting how bananas goes about it.

Last thing I need is another half hour or so a week of this show, but I'll tune in. Don't know if MTV has ever out something up that's exclusively online.

I'm watching now.

Wes throwing bananas in would be so fricking awesome. I know he won't do it (and it's Dustin based on the thread), but still. And frick Bananas for being so insulted that Wes wants to throw him in. All he ever talks about it retribution when his name is brought up, and he's thrown Wes in multiple times? frick off. I'd throw him in just because it'd be hilarious.

They definitely should have put each team's top and bottom poles on different sides. They should've built it better so that there was room for that. Would've made it tougher and more interesting.

Dustin lost. Good. frick him. And frick Jess too. She kinda sucks. She's pretty attractive from the chest up though.

I love the losers' bracket angle. Gives good teams a second chance if they have an off night.

Previews look solid. I love Jemmye talking about it being disgusting that people are hooking up when she fricked half the MSU basketball team. Kodi Augustus, bitch.

Wes is such a master troll when it comes to how he would spend the money I bet 2/3 of the cast doesn't even understand that he's mocking them for not being as successful as he is IRL.

Oddly enough the most intelligent person in the house besides Wes might be the biggest trainwreck when it comes to finances. I realize she came from a really shitty background, where she was routinely in foster care and abused and has no family, but how the hell is Jonna always one step from homelessness with the checks she gets from Bunim-Murray?
