Not surprising, Ben is a very good director, and he likely has no interest in playing batman for the next 10 years. I'd like to see him direct a nightwing movie with deathstroke as the villain.

Probably due to the poor performance of Black Adam.
DC feels like they have to equal Marvel, but at this point they should probably just stick to making animated movies and TV shows.

He left partly b/c of clashes with the writing team not sticking to Witcher lore.
He had just said he would stick around for all future seasons if the lore of the story was respected.

I liked the Snyderverse but I think they're going in a good direction with what Gunn and Safran want to do. Need a clean start.

Doomcock is saying that his "source" says its all about money and Zaslov pulls all the strings and made this move on his own.
He apparently got pissed at Affleck b/c he started waffling on playing Batman again, then Black Adam flops, and Zaslov basically tagged Gunn with finding new, Cheaper actors and blow the whole thing up and start over.
Essentially, Zaslov has to cut costs and this is one way to do it. Gunn may be the one who ultimatumely falls in the sword if this doesn't work out.
