Big FedEx Settlement with his job back because they all seem to be on really good terms, a big book and movie deal with Tom Hanks playing your character then the government hits him for 4 years back taxes once he's declared alive and takes away all of his earnings. Hooks up with the hot cowgirl and lives a peaceful life for a while until Kelly jettisons her husband and goes to Texas to take her man back.

I wonder if she waited longer than Lori from TWD before banging someone else?
She definitely waited longer than the 15 minutes Lori did. Bitch.

I'd watch that even though it sounds like it belongs on the Lifetime Movie Network.

That scene with he and his wife in the rain was perfect.
Great scene but they were not married. She was his fiance when he disappeared.

I know but it’s just an odd situation and your wife’s dead husband is now alive and well.
See comment above.

I just want to point out how shitty it was for FedEx to have crab and sushi laid out when he got back.
That's something the Mrs and I noticed the very first time we saw this. How in the hell did they figure that after four years of eating raw fish and whatever else he could get from the sea that he would want seafood for his rescue party?!
Burgers and barbecue would have been much better imo

I dont recall if they said what the time frame was from being rescued to the party, but maybe a couple of weeks?
His stomach probably would have burst out eating anything other than fish. Burgers could have killed him after 4 years on a starvation diet

He was a worker, probably went back to Russia to mentor the kid on package delivery efficiency

When he passed on the crab legs, I knew he had trauma.

Chuck probably couldn’t handle real life again and either died from drugs and booze or finished his days in a behavioral health unit.

oh and book and movie rights would be lucrative for him as well
he could call it “cast away”
Starring Collin Hanks

quote:the ending imo insinuated he followed the sail (wings) to that pretty little thing on the farm in west Texas. She got divorced after her husband cheated on her in Russia and Chuck after running into her at the crossroads headed back in her direction after Kelly moved on and started a family. Chuck said to Kelly when he got back that he would want to have children

He develops dissociative disorder that manifests a serial killer personality named Wilson. His Wilson persona kills while wearing a hat/mask made from a split volleyball.

To this point and kind of off topic, I wonder if Aron Ralston is set for life just from his book and that movie entailing his whole ordeal. I can’t imagine he is but I’m sure he gets booked to motivational speak

Beneficiaries would be on the hook to pay back the proceeds plus interest; the insurance company would most likely settle for a lower amount.
Yikes. That would suck.

I think he go paid bigly then went back and nailed that angel wing chick for a few weeks and got his head clear

He probably bought a small island with all that FedeX money and lived a happy, simple life

Wait up are yall telling me Sully wasn't a sequel to Cast Away????????
Figured it'd be a fitting life after being stuck on an island.
