I already can't wait for Captain Marvel to get a 99% on Rotten Tomatoes then watch everyone on here melt about how its overrated

She's not playing Brie Larson in the movie as far as I can tell. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Her voice sounds terrible in contrast with what the character shes playing supposedly is.
Looks like a typical marvel film outside of that.
Her voice just doesn't seem to match that role.

Yep, exactly my thoughts.
My alarm bells really went off when she says, "I'm not who you think I am."
I expect it to be solid, a B- level marvel movie, probably on the lower end with ant-man and the wasp.

Good point. Just like Chris Evans, RDJ, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlet Johansson, etc. sound nothing like themselves when they are playing MCU characters.

Well good thing their voices fit their roles.
I dont get what your problem is with criticism with respect to her voice as this character.
Her face and body and movements fit but obviously their voice has to fit too. I never knew who Brie Larson was before this or I never recall seeing any work of hers.
Voice acting is a thing btw.

Any of them...what do they sound like on the pages of those comic books?
