First to school some fools about the "popularity" of Captain Marvel and Carol Corps. Yeah... her corp is failing her if they keep on having to cancel her book each and every single time.

The thing is she was very popular after House of M when she decided that she wanted to be more proactive and became visible. PEOPLE liked her in droves then. Her books Ms. marvel sold VERy welll during that time.

Then she had the suit change and called herself Captain Marvel. It was also okay, pretty interesting but then... interest begins to wane because the writers were shite.

So they reboot it and added SJW and Feminist crap into it THEN to add insult to injury they cut her iconic hair. However that was not all. They started to make her look more and more Mannish with every issue.



This was her with all the curves in the right places.

This is her during the past few iteration.





FYI: The girl on the left was cosplaying Captain Marvel in the comic. Marvel deliberately set out to make Carol less feminine and more mannish.

Some fan theorized that the Kree DNA that she got form Mar-Vell was making her turn trans into a male.


So her books sales predictably plummet and keep on failing.

Also. Captain Marvel is not a Mantle, it's a homage to Mar-vell first used by Monica Rambeau. Later on Carol decided to use the title in HONOR of him. It's not a title like Green Lantern.

Finally the sales of Captain Marvel comics is not actually accurate. Go to any comic book stores and Captain Marvel books are in the sales bin OR in thick stacks in their back log.

The fans and customer DO NOT buy comic books. The way the comic book industry works is that the Comic Book STORES buys the comic books, paid for it, and if it doesn't sale, is unable to return it.

So they have to sit on it. The comic book industry also found that the best way to generate sales is to keep on re launching titles with Issue number 1 because comic book shops are sucker for those HOPING that people will buy it from them.

So those usually see a bit more uptick in orders but the drop off between 1 and 2 is massive when it concern any marvel title and thus continue to fail.


Marvel Comic is also the best sellers in general for a long time in Comic Book stores, DC is second but a smaller second. DC comics alone cannot keep stores afloat.

That is WHY Comic book stores have been going out of business closing on a weekly basis since last year. And if you ever been to a close out sale for such Comic Book Stores, Marvel comics is still left on the shelves while DCs books are mostly gone. Though Superman is now toxic thanks to DC willfully ingesting poison.

The older stuff pre the SJW era sells well. Go into an local comic store today and you will see Captain Marvel still in stock and sitting there in abundance.
