Ok..
I'll give chance the "rapper" my 2 cents.

This was an ok film. Just ok. It had a decent premise and very good actors, but it got stuck trying not to be racist. First off, the sjw community should enjoy the black hero. The black female in charge of the lapd. The solid Hispanic cop. The women in power. The mixed race human couple. And the ultimate goal of not judging a race.
The film went out of its way to show the orcs were not thugs.. just outcast.. and they even pointed out their heavy metal love.. I would assume they were more aryan brotherhood than black.
The elves were the 1 percent.
And even there... there seemed to be just a rich hierarchy not race.
Also there was a random dragon.. I'm just going to guess that was smaug hiring his gold.. so .... maybe Jewish?

If everyone would take their head out of their pc arse they would realize that all of those conscientious thoughts ruined this movie.

Go look at TLJ reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. They had to have been paid to write those reviews becuase that movie sucked

It did get in the way. They definitely didn't explore the world enough. I think we needed more back story on the dark lord and such

I’ll just add in what everyone else is saying. It wasn’t great, had some dumb/cringey moments, twists were super easy to spot, but wife and I both enjoyed it. I’m certainly not disappointed I watched it.

I was a fan of the world they set up and think it can do cool things going forward.

Movie critics are in a sad place right now and need to get over themselves

I thought this movie was absolutely awful. It took me like 7 attempts to get to the halfway point.

I'm no critic, but they are right. Regret wasting my time

This movie, while certainly watchable, was still pretty bad.

I think you're thinking of the Tiika character played by Lucy Fry. She was very Leeloo. Not Raplace's character

Highly probable. I don't know who either of those people are.

Hell, I know who Rapace is and didn't recognize her as the main baddie in Bright. Rapace is Lisbeth Salander in the original Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series and plays the main character Elizabeth Shaw in Prometheus.

It’s definitely a better movie than critics say but it’s still not very good.

Out of curiosity, how far up your own arse is your head lodged?

Man I loved this movie. It had me excited the whole time.

This thread and the reviews are just depressing.

Yall can't just enjoy a unique and interesting fantasy movie anymore?

It was a cool universe. Had some great action. Was well acted and shot, etc...

Can't wait for the sequel.
