Great acting. It seemed like Walt was trying to play plausible deniability, then after he got smacked around reverted back to old small Walt, his kids get mentioned and we get a whimper of Heisenberg.
I'm rooting for Walt but its apparent at the core he is a weak man when confronted or threatened.

Disappointed that they're choosing to play the same ol' hand with Jesse. He had no problem with the money when others were dying around him. I wish the Jesse from most of season 4 would return.
Otherwise, great.

He was just acting shocked which is not that hard to do

The entire point of the show is the reversal of characters in Walt and Jesse. Jesse is now trying to be remorseful for what he's done.

Don't have to be ok with it. Just get used to it.

His initial actions is to be scared and run. Everything he does afterwards is out of fear or pride. Watch the series bro.

Congrats on the dumbest post of the year

If Jesse is that fricked up, he would have either killed himself or fled the country by now. A doughy-eyed Jesse giving money to a homeless frick and chucking money out of his car onto people's lawns was the low point of the episode. Jesse's arc, albeit season 4, is the only predictable thing about the show and it's a shame.

I'd have to disagree with that. Certainly he's morally weak but his actions are more like a rattlesnake.
Evade, rattle if that doesn't work then strike if that doesn't work.
Even scenes where he is begging for his life are just stalling tactics to buy him some time. Exhibit A: the scene in the lab with Mike and Victor where he plays weak to make his offer of giving up Jesse seem plausible, only to use the opportunity to set up Gale's death, instead.

I'm concerned that Walt lied to jesse about what happened to Mike - I think in their relationship they have always been honest with each other and for the first time (?) - Walter lied to jesse about Mike, and that he isn't dead and doesn't know where he is etc. 10/10 episode.

Uhhh no. Blaming Gus for poisoning the kid is a pretty big lie.

He lied about Brock's sickness.
He has also directly or indirectly lied to Jesse on other occasions too. Jane's death, etc.
He has always more or less treated Jesse like shite.
