I love the show to a fault!...it does raise my blood pressure to read the criticism!!!!....I think it's perfect. Season 5 wasn't about having a huge character go against Walt. It was about him building an EMPIRE and it all coming crashing down. I understand that some people want to know what happens after Walt dies, but the series had to end with the last scene showing Walt. The show was about Walt and it needed to end with him.

Best series finale since Six Feet Under
I've never seen a show change so much from series premier to series finale. It's truly amazing.

Also, choice of name, "Heisenberg" - perhaps Hindenberg was being evoked here?
No, Heisenberg was a physicist most famous for the uncertainty principle.

I wasn't sure how the show would move on after killing off Gus, but it did.
I agree i thought they should end it because it couldnt maintain that level of awesomeness. I was wrong

He's referring to the displacement of the engine. 500 = 500 cubic inches.
"There's no replacement for displacement"

Didn't he also die of cancer?

Just looked this up, and yes he did.
That's an even better reference than I had originally thought.

And I'm saying this relative to BB as a show. Is it better than 90% of television on right now? Of course. Was the payoff and process of Season 5 good compared to the heights of Season 4? No, not close.
im with you. going to the shitty generic villains these past 2 seasons was weak

Season 5 was about building an empire. Other seasons lead to get to that point, including killing Gus. Who did u want the villain to be?
