no.

that was never the objective.

control of hank was the objective. this was walt's way of putting a leash on him so he could continue to do what he wants.

Walt would have still turned over that tape if he had to. Skylar knew that. At first it was for control, but they would have put it to action if necessary.

And handing over that tape they made to the DEA wouldn't have destroyed Hank and Marie's lives? Granted it's not death, but Hank would have still been destroyed. She went along with that just fine.

Is the lotto ticket still on the fridge? Could that tie Walt to Hank and Gomey's bodies?

The ticket was in Walt's wallet 2 episodes ago

he pulled it out when he was hiding behind the rock to give the coordinates to the Nazis

This was Walter White's final gift to the four surviving people his hubris had destroyed before the Nazis show up to deal with Jesse's taped confession.

That is a quote from the review link you posted. It's about the phone call. Great link by the way, but hmmm, that sentence is interesting.

Does this writer know something we don't - for sure? Obvious deduction is obvious, but he places this sentence near the end of the lengthy review - as if it is fact. Wonder if he's seen the entire series?

My problem with Skylar isn't that she opposes Walt. It's that she can't make up her mind, emotional and inconsistent in her logic.

One minute she is ordering hits on Pinkman, the other she is breaking down in her car wash office.

I just don't understand it.

so what don't you understand about a typical woman?

I think it ends with Walt dying alone of cancer after losing everything he ever cared about just to become king

An angle I'm not sure has been mentioned- Saul said that once you use his guy, there's no coming back. He told Jesse that if he ever stepped foot in ABQ again, he'd pretty much be dead. Well, we know that not only does Walt use Saul's guy, but he goes back home.

I remember Saul saying the "there's no going back", but I don't remember there being any type of threat from the disappearing people. I took the "no going back" part as saying you can't come back and associate with people you knew if you wanted the thing to work. Plus I don't think that there's really enough time to introduce a new potential adversary.

Ok, I may have just taken it the wrong way. I thought he meant that there would be repercussions for him if he came back.
