Of course it was out of anger, but he's been angry a lot in this series. He's still never done anything that evil on a personal level.
It was the first time he did something without a means to an end. Every murder he has committed has been t protect someone or protect himself so he could be there for his family. Tonight, he did something purely from the darkest part of his soul for personal pleasure. He ENJOYED telling Jessie that. He took pleasure from an evil act. That was a first.

I tend to agree. It was Walt's "I fricked Ted" moment.

It kills me to see Walt and Jesse at odds.
I know it will never happen, but I want that relationship to end on a good note.
I see nothing but death and destruction in Walt's future, but I hope he pumps the brakes on the Jesse situation and doesn't add his body to the pile.
Jesse ratting is despicable, but I really don't want to see Walt or Jesse die...

The saddest thing is that Jesse had Walt all figured out, what, during Season 3, when he confronted Walt with ruining his life after Hank beat the shite out of him. Jesse is stupid and weak, but that doesn't excuse Walt using and destroying him. Jesse was right. Walt is The Devil.

Every scene with Holly was gut wrenching. That baby is the best baby actress ever.
No shite. That baby was like 2 years old max. And was saying "mama. no mama" with a flawless expression on her face. Then the scene in the fire engine was unbelievable.

Y'all are nuts. Or maybe you've just been ruined by dumb evil characters in movies, or maybe you think only sociopaths are truly evil.
This show isn't about that kind of evil; it's about more pedestrian evil. Walt does everything for pride. Don't you know your seven deadly sins?

Holly wins over Harrison Morgan's "ow ow ow ow ow"

yup, this monster has been growing inside of Walt ever since Grey Matter.
Without the ego, Walt would've gotten out in Season 2 or 3. Or hell, he would've never started in the first place.

Yep Heisenberg is simply the name for his recessive personality. Which makes you wonder which if either is in control at what point. Instead of meth maybe he needs some lithium

Walt telling Jessie about Jane, hell I don't know where you can rank it, but for me, that was the point where I said, "damn!"
I didn't see that coming there, although I had played it out as somehow happening somewhere, but didn't think it actually would. It blindsided me at that particular point.
We bitched about all the ammo they fired, but that was one hell of a final shot there in the desert.
I guess it's because of the way Jessie kept calling Jane's cell phone in several episodes just to hear her voice until the line was finally put DEAd. That's where I went from hating Jessie to really liking him - again! (How the frick do they keep doing that?)
Then, after Walt told him, the look on Jessie's face from the back of the car as he stared at Walt as Jessie was going off to be physco's boy toy. Holy crap.
Again, rank it anywhere you want, but that was some intense shite right there man.
I did wonder why they simply didn't look under the car at first, though, for Jessie. I know why he had to be found at that point - for it to play out that way.
Oh well, in conclusion, I'm frickin' back on a team, now.
No sympathy for the Devil here, I'm on Team Jessie, Bitch!

EW in an article about 1/2 a month ago, said the end will have Walt and/or Jessie try and basically make the best of the situation as he/they possibly can.
So, I'm thinking you're going to see the hybrid of Walt.
Also, the finale is supposed to be "polarizing", so this may have been as good as it gets for some, or maybe I should say, for the majority, unless the next episode eclipses this one (prior to the finale)
Finales are tricky. Hard to please everyone. As I said in another thread, this show does have the advantage of mind-fricking the hell out of everyone to the point of they don't know what's going to happen next, so that may help them in the fact that it will be harder for people to set it up in their mind how they want it to end.

Pure epicness. Literally was in awe like most everyone in here. Never been affected by a show like that. But I think it's pretty obvious how it's going to end. Walts only goal is to protect his family, he's going to get rid of any and every threat to them, including himself.

Holly was very involved tonight. I wonder if we get a flashback to the video from that party where Walt talked to future Holly about how everything he did was for her.

Ok, back to watch the next 40 minutes if my head can take it
