Where's the moment he gave up on Walt then? When he got in the van? Because that was definitely "Walt" that made the call to Skylar and left Holly at the Fire Dept.

Walt was tied to his family, taking Holly with him was his last grasp of holding on to that. When he called Skylar and left Holly at the fire station, everything that was "Walt" was gone.

I'm not saying that his own sense of morality is out of the window, but Walt is gone. He doesn't have his family to justify his actions. In my opinion, he either turns into Gus or solely focusses on revenge, but there is no happy ending for him.

What? Broke Bad? His bitch of a wife came at him with a knife. His retardo butt plug of a son managed to make up crap to the cops. Walt gave back his daughter. He tried to save Hank.

Tell me what Walt did to break even further bad besides admit to Jesse his past crime.

Skylar acting like a Saint had me shaking my head the entire time. I was hoping Walt would have shot her in the head.

Jeez, another example of "Team Walt".

The guy is fricked up beyond redemption. Sure he has his moments like two minutes of regret and pleading for Hank. But, intentionally or not, he put Hank in that position.

Hank at least had principles. If that had been Walt on the ground he'd be offering to give the Nazi a blow job and sacrifice everyone to save his hide.

Speaking of which, Walt gives up Pinkman like the bitch Walt is to save his own arse.

Again, sure, he had his moment of nobility when he gets Skylar off the hook with the cops by spilling it all on the phone and giving his daughter back.

I love it when people bitch about Skylar, by the way. She may be a schmuck, but, really, she just wanted a regular life and to protect her kids.

But Walt, in the end, is beyond flawed. He's borderline (not quite, but borderline) sociopath who has been able to make us cheer for him at times. That's why Cranston is so good in the role.

Walt taking the blame for someone's death and then running away?

He's the hero we deserve, but not the one we need right now.

I have seen people say that Marie or Jesse spray paint "Heisenberg" on the wall in the house.

I think thats just local kids vandalizing the house...I mean we see kids skate boarding in the pool.

You may be right. That would mean the public knows who he is, and Carol's reaction to him backs that up.

Which means that some major shite has to go down that causes it to come out.

If that is the case though, it would mean the police should be after him. He doesn't seem to concerned about being in public and letting Carol see him.

I think everyone's at Marie's. the public knows about or will about Walt. Also, anyone else wish we didn't get the flash forwards? Just imagine how much more surprising last night would've been.

what is the timeline exactly?

when was holly born? how soon after his 50th birthday?

he's well between 51 and 52..he turned 51 way before he started dealing with lydia and that went on for several months to amass that much money.

but holly seemed awfully small to be almost 2 years old.

Yeah...Heisenberg is a national name by the time he has a beard.

He doesn't seem concerned because he looks like a homeless guy...and he has an M60....and he knows he is about to die

I am guessing that Walt=Heisenberg comes out and the family moves in with Marie leaving the other house abandoned.

how many loose ends are there?

Not as many as you think.

quote:

- skylar/walt tape implicating hank

Which Skyler has a agreed to destroy. There's no reason to think she won't.

quote:

- marie knowing skylar was a part of it
- walt jr knowing skylar was a part of it

And they both believe she was co-erced into it by her abusive husband, confirmed by the telephone call. Marie already gave Skylar a way out when she thought Hank had won.

quote:

- saul, nazis, jesse, lydia

Saul ain't telling nobody a thing, nor is Jesse now. His snitching days are done. The Nazis and Lydia won't rat out their own organization either. So they aren't after Walt either.

quote:

- recording of walt's call admitting to everything

The call to Jesse, only Hank had a copy of, as that investigation wasn't official DEA business. It's gone, and in a hole in the desert. The second call implicates Walt only, but in such a way that he didn't actually admit to anything. He was weak on details for a reason.

quote:

- video of jesse's confession

Once again, gone. Who knows about it? It's not in the DEA files. It's out there like a time bomb, but no one knows it exists.

So did Walt kidnap Holly for the sole purpose of getting the police to the house to call them and get Skylar off the hook with his speech that fully implicated him and not her?

Not originally. Everything he has done has been for his family and since his wife and son refused to disappear with him he took Holly to maintain that family connection. He didn't have a change of heart until Holly started saying "Momma" in the bathroom.

That's kind of what I was thinking. Marie thinks Skylar was heavily involved, which she was in deeper than she thought, and I am not sure Marie falls for Walt's phone call. Walt confessed to killing her husband. The only thing is Skylar is the only family Marie has left, so she may forgive her. Going to be a crazy last two episodes. Cannot. Wait.

Why would the disappearing guy be cool with Walt bringing millions of dollars in cash in a barrel...but freakout if Jesse brought a small bag of weed?

Ugh. What? Walt was saved. Pinkman deserves to die. He is the reason Walt is in this position because he couldn't cope with having money and his guilt. This is on Jesse.

Her brain is about the size of a Walnut. I'm sorry, when she pulled the knife, I have no sympathy for stupid. She escalated that situation willingly.

You need money to disappear. Jesse was bringing millions with him as well.
