Not gonna read through the whole thread
And I'm sure it's already been mentioned, but:
Did anyone else notice Walt's pants from the first cook in the middle of the desert when he was rolling his barrel?

I love how Vince and the writers continue to beautifully blur the lines between good and evil. They clearly showed how much Walt cared about saving Hanks life, but in the end he plays it up like he was solely responsible. Seems like part guilty conscience, part narcissism. The tension and depth of this episode was off the charts. Its so awesome how they show runners are firing on all cylinders here in the twilight of the series.

He did that to throw the cops off of Skyler
He knew cops were listening. His plan was to sound as evil and diabolical as possible to make skyler look like a victim. That's why he started off by saying she kept trying to stop him.
He knew he was never gonna see them again so he had to take as much heat for everything as possible.
It wasn't narcissism. It was part of his plan to help his family

I think he did it for one of two reasons or both:
A. He wants to go after the rest of his money.
B. He doesn't want any conflict between the Nazis and his family.
It seems like everything he does is for a reason.

Smoke + Ash both great observations. The idea that he was lying to save his family from retribution was manifested in the fact that he was crying while threatening Skylar.

When he backed out of the driveway and took off with the baby, holy crap that was awesome. Not as awesome has Hank getting shot in the face though.

Yeah, he takes the heat off of Skylar by threatening her and taking credit for the whole thing. He also keeps his deal with the Nazis by saying he killed Hank himself. In his mind at this point, his family is safe and no one knows what happened in the desert.

Wow...
Vince Gilligan did something tonight most won't realize. He took what we THOUGHT we knew, hat Walter White had already "Broken Bad" at one point or another, and showed us how fricking wrong we were. We knew NOTHING about the depth of his depravity before tonight.
Today, this episode, Walter White broke bad. He went beyond the scope of even his own mind and did the one thing he nor we ever thought he would do.

You know what? frick Walt. He's a pathetic loser at this point. He may exact some revenge, but, really, he's weak.
I didn't realize you were a massive vagina on every board

Though usually a the tragic clown puts on a happy face to hide his sadness, but Walt hid his sadness behind anger.

You got it wrong, he took the blame to save skylar. He gave back his daughter. He will be back to take out the nazis.

So the Nazis now have like $10 million each... why would they still cook meth? Just skip the country and party in Europe.

The star of tonight's show was baby Holly. She had one line and she nailed it.

Is there any way Lydia survives this series?

I want Jesse to brutally kill Todd
I think it would be cool if Jesse killed Todd kind of like how Walt killed Emilio in the pilot.

If you give a mouse a cookie, he's gonna want to make more meth.
