Gomey seems more likely to turn on/be manipulating Hank for career advancement reasons than having anything to do with the meth ring.
I seriously doubt they would have Gomey turn on Hank this late in the game.

He has always doubted Hank and even tonight kept questioning his ideas. Something is up. I see him more likely to be thinking Hank is crazy or some other reason he's not completely loyal to him than having anything to do with the dark side. But something is definitely up with him to be pulled in this episode like he was.

I think Walt honestly though he could sit down and talk to Jesse and get him to understand things about Brock. Like Hank pointed out to Jesse, Walt could have cut ties with him a number of times in the past but hasn't.

Somehow it becomes public knowledge that Walt is a bad guy. That is going after "where he lives".
Anyone Remember the reaction the neighbor lady had to Walt in the first episode this season?
Also, Hank's willingness to put Jesse in danger is foreshadowing another demonstration of his screwed up moral compass.
I think Walt is forced to cook again.

I'm guessing this was the episode much like fly that they used to save money so they could use more for the last few episodes.
I don't think you understand the concept of a bottle episode. "Fly" was filmed with a single set and the most minimal number of actors in order to save money. This episode was filmed across more sets than any in recent memory (I can recall seven different setting off the top of my head) and the entire cast.

Walt's powder keg is his work.
the most fitting/best ending, IMO, is if Jessie outsmarts Walt and ends up killing him/getting him busted. Specifically, in a way where Walt has to at least face for a few moments (in the case of him dying) that a) he was outwitted by a lowly, drug-addicted high-school dropout and b) that the world/people he cares about will know this. For Walt, that would be the ultimate humiliation...

Do you think he just permanently ally himself with Walt and drive off into the sunset?
He doesn't have to do anything. Walt retired. Jesse could ride off into his own sunset if he wasn't such a degenerate pussy. He doesn't have to be involved with Walt AT ALL.
If Jesse is so "morally" changed, then his pussy arse shouldn't request any time off for snitching. He should serve his time because he's been a piece of shite the whole show as well.
And listen to Hank, he hopes Jesse gets killed. Yeah, there's your "good guy" for the Team Hank morons.
Oh and:

Big win for team Hank tonight.
You have to be shitting. "Good" Ole Hank doesn't give a shite about anything but the bust. frick the meth head, he hopes he dies and gets it on film. Yeah, great person to root for
Not saying Walt is either, but Hank sucks.

I don't follow...please elaborate...
remember in season 4 when gus has the flashback to when his partner gets killed? that set in motion gus' entire mission of eradicating the cartel.
im saying that walt could be gus and jesse could be the one that gets killed. like jesse gets killed and that causes walt to get the m60 and go eradicate the other gang

I think this is a major point VG is trying to push: that people with good intentions often lose their way when they start to employ the "ends justify the means" philosophy (e.g., Walt with providing for his family; Hank with busting Heisenberg-who-turns-out-to-be-Walt).
The funny part about the team walt/hank is that VG is obviously trolling us: both dudes are doing the exact same thing philosophically, but each faction is claiming their side is superior--meanwhile, VG sits back and laughs at how retarded everyone is for not seeing this (fairly obvious) point.

T be fair, I don't think he was hoping for it. He just said if it happened so be it, it helps his case just as much as getting a confession on the wire would.

I'm not Team Walt either. If I HAD to choose, yes I would take Walt over Hank. I think Walt deserves what he has coming to him, but people acting like Hank is a "good guy" is a joke. And now people liking and/or defending Jesse

I think he said "good" when Gomez said Jesse could be right and he could get killed. "I hope we get it all on tape".
Watching it for a second viewing now, so I'll see later
eta: So Hank, the awesome dude he is says "I hope he's right, Pinkman gets killed, and we get it all on tape".
Yay, Team Hank!!

I think the neighbor Carol's reaction in the flash-forward had more to do with Walt faking his own death than Walt being publicly outed as a villain. She looked like she'd seen a ghost.
Oh yeah, and the oranges tumbling out of her grocery bag ... homage to The Godfather with the oranges as a harbinger of violence and death?

I've always hated jesse. I want him to die. He's always been a little pussy.

After binge watching the first 5 seasons, watching 1 hour at a time is fricking miserable. The show is over before it fricking starts.

Agreed. This is my first time watching live and for some reason this hour and 5 minutes passed way faster than 47 minutes.

Pretty sure they're just setting us up for a real Jesse/Hank relationship.
Hank has been the only real father figure on the show, especially to Walt Jr.
