His best acting performances were 12 Monkeys, Seven, Moneyball, and that Jesse James movie. At least to me. The most entertaining were Inglorious Bastards, Fight Club, Snatch, and Burn After Reading.

But yeah if I had to pick one, 12 Monkeys is easily his best performance ever. That should have been the one that won him an Oscar.

He had to save the film from cruise, dunst, and antonio. Who were mis-cast.

Except cruise, but he was apparently a dickhead on the set. Which I'm sure didn't help.

He did quite well in Kaliformia also. Disturbing character though.

Meet joe black was a difficult role.
Not playing a human. Pretending to be an angel who is not trained in our ways.

You mean the role where he literally was supposed to show no emotion? Not that difficult to portray nothing.

Great movie, and a good performance by Pitt, but the war scene was an incredible example of unintentionally funny over-acting.

Not sure about his best performance but my favorite film of his is A River Runs Through It.

Moneyball... Should've won an Oscar. It was one of the most natural, authentic feeling acting performances in a long time.
