As for episode 10, this was one of the series's best IMO. I'm eagerly awaiting Harrow's first real contribution to his new employer. My bet is it's quite a doozy.

fingers crossed!

And we all know someone big is going to die...who will it be? It sure looked like it was going to be Chalky this week which would fit in well with him being such a main part of the storyline this season...

Hope its not Chaulky!

Showing Eli at the beginning giving up "old info" making everyone thinking he's gonna rat, but at the very end was a great scene!! When he asks his son if this is what he wants...."alright, lets sort it out" I think Eli offs Agent Knox.

Hopefully Nucky has Harrow snipe the good Dr. I think he's really pissed at him for the heroin deal and now w the mayor.

Kinda surprised Chaulky is ditching his family just like that. Thought he was about to cut his lady friend loose last episode.

Surprising liking the AR and Margaret connection.

Capone is gonna really go after Torio now.

Next season needs more Capone and AR.

Someone better kill that a-hole soon.

I can't remember the last time I hated a character as much as Knox.

I don't think that was Torrio setting Capone up at all. I think that was some of O'Banion's men trying to take Capone out.

Agreed. Not once did I think that Torrio was setting up Capone. The show did a good job to make it look that way, but knowing that Capone has been loyal to him, I don't think he'd put a hit out on him. History doesn't say that either.

I feel like that setting up Will to die. I hope I'm wrong because I like his character as an apprentice. He has a sharp, but well disguised temper like Nucky.

But I still think Knox is going to die. Either that or he's going to be so upset with Hoover ignoring his work that he's going to go rogue. I feel like we saw a little of that when he went to Eli's house and lost his temper.

I'm still anxiously awaiting what happens with the whore and Peter.

Sign of a good actor I hate that bastard too.

Speaking of Knox, I read this review and I tend to agree....

quote:

Agent Knox, for instance, the show’s current boy scout working for the Bureau of Investigation, is willing to kill a man in cold blood for essentially no reason at all. Knox’s adherence to obeying the law is in many respects without question, but he’s unconcerned with murder. He’s hunting down Nucky Thompson and the rest of organized crime around the country, but he’s doing it in a completely amoral manner. This is essentially what drove Richard Harrow to despair at the beginning of the season. He, on the other hand, doesn’t mind murder, but he can’t deal with the fundamental nihilism of Knox. His actions need to have a sort of meaning, whereas for Knox that meaning is simply the law. Knox himself has become one of the most interesting characters on the show because of his “by any means necessary” approach to his assignment, not to mention his complete lack of guilt. He has the ruthlessness of Van Alden, but not the conscience, and as such is the only true sociopath in the show’s fourth season, silently as unpredictable and dangerous as Gyp Rossetti in the third.

I miss Gyp. Gyp had some of the best dialogue in the show.

I think this was the best episode of the entire series so far.. And it contained my favorite line as well:

"Dr. Narcisse, there's something I've been meaning to ask you, for quite some time. Who the frick, do you think you are?"

This is the best season so far.

3 was good but not up to the standards of the first 2 season. Season 2 seemed so predictable, the story was following to such an obvious place, but like all television shows they'll just wrap it up in a nice bow and everything will go back to the way it was

NOT!

Season 3 has so much going on, but not overwhelming and you cannot really see the end game or how things are playing out from the episode 1-9. Great season and my favorite so far and

the bond actor playing dr. narcisse

Same here. Especially if you know historically what's about to happen in the coming months.

I think Knox is going to certainly die, and probably Dr. Narcisse. They will probably follow the Gyp Rosetti arc by introducing a fictional villian and then killing them off at the end of the season. This keeps them from messing with historical issues.

I am interested in seeing what Gaston Means tells Nucky. In the previews for next week's episode he was on the phone with Nucky and Nucky asked him what his price was. Remember Means was shown having coffee with Knox earlier in the season.

Gaston Means was a real person and from reading his Wiki page, he was very interesting. He seemed to make a living by swindling powerful people and selling the information. Stephen Root was the perfect person to play such a quirky character.

The ending reminded me of last season when Capone said "let's talk about who dies" Eli -"Ok. Let's sort this out"
Eli does not know that J Edgar is fricking Knox so it makes me think He will turn and work for Thompson b/c he is pissed that J is turning his back on him, but he could die. The way he blew that truck driver away was crazy. I could see him and Harrow doing some cleaning house.

I can't wait until Narciss gets his head blown off. I can't stand that arrogant a-hole.

another awesome line! Part of me wished they threw down right then and there.
