I get the sense that Van Alden has been on the backburner because he's getting ready to wreck some shite in a serious way.

My only issue with this episode was the lack of Chalky. I can't be satisfied with a line or so.

yep, thats exactly what I think is going to happen.

dude straight up kicked the shite out of a waiter, drowned a dude during the middle of a church service, and knocked up a whore, all while he was in a religious kick. dudes about to start wrecking shite once he gets corrupted and realizes how much power he has.

Should be good. Just wish HBO had gone in a different direction with the Nelson character. An Elliot Ness type IRS agent (yes I know he didn't work for the IRS) would be better in IMO. Nelson is a fn weirdo.

Man I disagree. Nelson is going to stir the Atlantic City shitpot. It's going to get ugly because of him.

Van Alden is one of the more interesting characters in the show to me. And while he hasn't been confronting his foes face to face, he has been heavily involved in the shadows (paying off the Irish guy for info, leading to one of Nucky's shipments getting jacked).

Margaret is starting to annoy the hell out of me. She's going to fire Katy soon. Watch. And I love how she chastizes Katy for flirting with Slater while she is banging "Uncle" Nucky in the house (creepy as shite the kids call him uncle).

Jimmy is slowly building a ruthless and power hungry army. These guys can be a force if they work together.

And I told yall not to trust Shooter McGavin. Did I call it or did I call it?

I wonder how Nucky is going to stick it to Shooter McGavin later on...

I took it from the last scene with her other maid bringing in the kid that she's already fired Katy.

I fricking hate margret. She's a huge hypocrite and it appears that she's got some type of past that will slowly be revealed to us. I bet she's not as innocent a person as the show first made it seem.

Oh yeah. That was foreshadowed with that weird phone call that Katy made earlier in the season

margret wants the irish dudes dick. it's very simple to see.

What's funny about that is I think that Slater doesn't want her.....but he knows she wants him. He's just fricking with her, IMO.

Correct. In the previews for next week, Capone returns.

definitely one of my favorite characters...

Margaret definitely wants some Irish dick and it was pretty obvious that the federal trial/get out of jail free card was too good to be true.

So when does Nucky find out the truth regarding Margaret and her past name and family in Boston? Katy already told Slater and I think if Katy is fired she spills the beans or maybe one of the kids rats her out.

Tripped me out too to see Van Alden's wife show up...wow...just wow lol.

He is good! I was watching Gangs of New York the other day and had a "holy shite, that's capone" moment.

He was also one of the few bright spots in Public Enemies as Baby Face Nelson. Never realized he was British
