I've gone through most of the more popular series on Netflix. I'd like something new to watch, but nothing has really caught my eye.

I started Sense8 last night but was kind of confused about what was going on. I've also read that the show is a sermon for LGBTQ issues, gender inequality, and other left wing talking points.

Any suggestions?

I'm a teeny bit confused on if you've seen those shows (other than sense8) or not, but if you haven't watched bloodline...you should watch bloodline. No questions asked. Do it immediately.

Sense8 is a great show, but you have to REALLY stick with it for a few episodes. It pays off.

The LGBTQ isn't that big of a deal. The only thing that offended me was the fact that the trans girl can't act worth a shite, but it's not really that heavy handed.

Try The Leftovers on HBO if you can.

That doesn't stop it from being a good series.

Yeah. If you're going to let minor social and political beliefs that aren't even in direct correlation to the plot dictate how you view a show, then you probably shouldn't watch it.

The Killing was awesome.

The Seattle setting was akin to the LA setting for the first season of TD.

Good acting and a good story line.

Bloodline is excellent.

Seasons 1-3 of the Killing are decent enough, but season 4 was terrible. Peter Sarsgaard's performance in season 3 was the best thing about the series.

Have you seen Happy Valley?

Bloodline and the killing. I'd go with bloodline first as its only 1 season. Less of a time commitment. Both are really good.

I really dug Bloodline. It was a classy soap opera with some really good acting.

The Killing was a massive disappointment. I actively hate-watched the second season and couldn't be bothered with the third or fourth seasons.

The Fall was really good. Not a Netflix original, but a tense police drama from Northern Ireland. Gillian Anderson was great in it.

Are you saying you've seen Bloodline? If not, I thought that was a good show. The Killing is definitely good enough to watch as well.

Bloodline was pretty damn good.

The first 2 seasons of The Killing are great.

Haven't seen Sense8.

Seriously this. After I watched it I searched up some old threads on here and was shocked. Some people are gay. Depicting characters that happen to have that sexual predilection is hardly preaching or pushing an agenda.

That being said, Bloodline first for sure. Really good. Kyle Chandler and the frick up brother do a killer job. Then sense8. The Killing is a no for me.
