Just watched both episodes. It's defiantly no Spartcus. I enjoyed it

I'm giving up on this show. A show about Pirates that never leave the land or get on a boat just doesn't work for me. The only saving grace is the Pirates do occasionally get the booty.

Not enough action. Too much damn talking. Actors aren't that great. Kind of wooden.

I really like it. There has only been 4 episodes and we are acting like all of the characters are supposed to be developed. Most of the characters all have known histories. For example, we know John Silver's arc will end up Flint's quartermaster pre treasure island. I knew that Silver would not lose his eye from the knife watching the pearl deal go down. We know he will lose a leg and gain a parrot.

I was really excited about this new series. It's off to a really slow start. I keep waiting on something to happen and nothing yet.

It is kind of slow but I really think it's going to be good. Have to build up the characters and then ramp up the action. I'm holding out hope.

I agree things are slow but you couldn't exactly have them running back on the boat in episode 1 and hunting down the Spanish treasure ship.
