Why do we hate Bateman now?

For me personally it’s because he acts literally the same in every single movie/show he’s ever done besides Dodgeball and I’m just tired of it.

Add a lisp, lower/raise your voice, change your mannerisms, talk faster/talk slower, do an accent, do something dude.

I’d put Bateman and Owen Wilson in the same category as just naturally charismatic and having the overall gift of gab…and I love both.

His character was so unlikeable you have to attribute that to good acting or good writing.

His character in this was very different than Michael Bluth.

This show is fricking badass. I don’t know what it is but I don’t like Roxie unless she can make me so damn good food. Binging the crap out of this midway through e7 best thing I’ve seen this year

I think it's pretty awesome. First 2 episodes are kind of slow - my husband fell asleep and later said he wasn't interested in continuing. I keep watching while at the gym.

Y'all didn't tell me Railroad Zaddy George Russell (from The Gilded Age) was in it! Love him.

Just finished it. It was okay; good but not great. The deaf gangster was the best thing about it IMO

Definitely my take as well. Felt like the end was kind of rushed and then was a dud.

I thought it was great.

I wonder if the deaf gangster is actually deaf. He plays a deaf guy in foundation.

Just finished it. One of the things that stood out for me too. The entire series is very well made. Solid performances.

I just don’t like these kinds of shows/films. Where you’re moving from one train wreck to the next. Series of bad decisions compounded by other bad decisions. Just wears me out.

Without giving anything away, I’ll just say that the ending kind of saved the series for me.

Yeah he is. He’s the deaf dad in the family of deaf people in the movie Coda.

I read up on him after being impressed with him on this and yes he is apparently deaf in real life. And also won an Oscar for the film CODA.

Jude Law is underrated and it has some hot women in it so I’ll check it out.

Had to look up the black girl, Cleopatra Coleman. I'm in love.
