Watched the first two episodes, it's slow going.

I liked how they didn't just jump right into them being a team.

So far (I'm in episode 3), it's setting the tone that all four are focusing on the same problem and start by getting in each other's way.

I just finished ep. 2 and I'm digging this. Patience is a virtue, and it was worth the time to set up that scene with Luke Cage grabbing Danny's arm.
I'm excited to see how it all comes together

Just finished it all.

Guess I'll keep my mouth shut about the ending.

Liked it overall, the story that is, although I thought the action scenes could have been better.

Where would you rank it among the prequel episodes?

I liked it a lot overall. Length was great, 8 episodes was a good call.

Agree, it could of used a bit more action.

For me below Daredevil Season 1, Jessica Jones because of David Tennant, and the first part of Luke Cage. Above everything else. It's not too far below those three though. Enjoyed them all.

I am pretty excited. I was not a huge fan of Iron fist and I went into it super excited.

I didn't like Luke Cage either.

The fights in both were kinda boring. Luke Cage was preachy to the point of being hokey and Danny Aranda spent most of the show acting like a bitch.

I don't get the love for Jessica Jones. I found it terribly boring and depressing.

Right there with you, couldn't get past three episodes. Can I watch defenders having only seen daredevil?

I've watched all of them except for the last 4 episodes of Iron Fist (which I'll probably binge tonight). Iron Fist is the only one I'd say you might need to watch.

I'm pumped now. I might be one of the only people on this board that like Iron Fist.

It was awesome

The first few episodes were slow but after that I really enjoyed it

I would say I enjoyed the two Daredevil series and Jessica Jones more, but this one was right behind those.

Somewhat spoilers below

There were little things I didn't like. Danny hiding behind luke when the got shot. He just met him and clearly had no idea who or what he was, yet someone shoots at him and he immediatly hides behind the bullet proof man.
The Misty character is so useless, and her captain was terrible. I still dont care for Claire, but she is the link between them all. All of the minor characters in general I don't care for. Simply dont care about their feelings at all.

I'd appreciate not having to hear about white privilege and empowering women in my movies and shows also.

I didn't like the way Bakuto and the Chinese guy died. They seemed pretty invincible, yet died by means they should not have. I don't mind colleen, but she shouldn't be killing a hundreds of year old ninja.

I like Madam Gao. Looking forward to more of her. She needs to team up with Fisk. I liked Alexandra and especially Elektra.

They didnt try to be funny anywhere, although i did like the "You have to be the dumbest Iron Fist of them all"

I really liked the big story, and I thought they integrated the heroes well. Felt like they made a point to let the bad guys let us know that Daredevil is a bad arse, and the real leader of the defenders, even though the first 6 episodes make it seem like it's centered around iron fist.
All in all it was enjoyable, i just thought they could have made it better. The fight scenes felt more like the iron fist series instead of the daredevil series.

Look forward to more from this universe in general.

I would say you have to watch DD2 and IF. JJ and LC had pretty much nothing to do with this one.

I love that White Privilege scene, his parents got killed, his company nearly taken over, he was living hand to mouth most of his life and was beaten within a inch of his life almost every day.

WOOOO Privilege....

I watched and loved season two of daredevil, but I'll pass on iron fist. Should I check out the wiki before watching defenders?

Sidenote, been going through my old comics with the kiddo this summer, it's been fun as hell. But he won't quit asking about the punisher comics. I keep telling him he's not old enough, but he's definitely sneaking in and grabbing them at night, right?

Without a doubt. This series revolves around iron fist.
