This might be an unpopular take, but after watching The Lord of the Rings again, Frodo.
Sam saves Frodo from the orcs and carries his arse to Mount Doom after Frodo trusts a back stabbing Gollum over Sam, who’s been his friend the entire time, and then he has the audacity to keep the ring for himself instead of throwing it in the lava. The only reason the ring was destroyed was because his bitch arse threw Gollum into the lava fighting him for the ring. And then Sam saves his bitch arse AGAIN. And then he doesn’t even tell Sam he’s going with Bilbo to the land of the undying until he’s about to get on the boat. He’s a self-serving, whiny little bitch the entire trilogy.
But this is one of the reasons the books are much better than Peter Jackson's movies... and why Jackson's changes are almost never good.
Book Frodo never turns against Sam; book Frodo also wasn't an effete damsel in distress either. The movies are beautiful, but they're flawed

Tolkien himself addressed Frodo's failure to destroy the ring. He said NO ONE could have thrown the ring in after possessing it. Movie Frodo sided with Gollum because he saw him self and what the Ring was doing to him in Gollum. You show true ignorance of the written or movie work.

Anybody mention this guy? He was basically on a suicide mention (because he killed his brother in a car accident )and took the rest of the crew with 'em except for Norman who got lucky.

Renee Zellweger in Appaloosa. She used the clumsy, coy damsel-in-distress act to reel in a poor guy and drops his arse the minute someone more powerful shows up. In fact, she plays that same character in all her movies.
I don’t think it was unintentional though. The character was obviously a manipulative floozy.
Good movie though.

Most luxurious accommodations at the time? Sure. Ever? lol no.
Avg accommodations on a modern cruise would blow that away
Other than the bathroom situation (where just having one was a luxury in itself), I disagree. Titanic First Class was basically Versailles on water

Besides indoor plumbing no a/c or central heating, Better and more food options more entertainment options more comfortable overall It looks pretty but accommodations today are much better

I don't think she dropped the ball on purpose because she told the pitcher how to strike her out. Kit just got lucky and hit one of those high ones and bowled her over. Kit wanted it more.

Ilsa in Casablanca. She leaves Rick high and dry in Paris as the Germans are about to invade, without explanation. Then, when she learns about the letters, she tries to get them from Rick at gunpoint. That doesn't work though, because Rick doesn't care if he lives or dies.
So, she goes to Plan B, convincing Rick she still loves him so he will use the letters to take her away from Casablanca. Of course, she is fully prepared to leave hubby for the Nazis.
Then, at the airport, she learns that hubby is using the letters to leave. She could have stayed in Casablanca with Rick, but she "allows" herself to be convinced to leave with hubby.
Total conniving bitch.

Just because you lived through something doesn’t give you the right to frick with everybody else’s life.

And you don’t think Forest endured trauma? That’s cute.

You call it redemption, I call it a lifetime of her being selfish.

Plus the Titanic is tiny by modern cruise ship standards.

When i watched Star War. My thinking was. If I fpund out my dad was Darth Vader and wanted me to rule the galaxy with him. I would do it. I bet Lukes life would have been better than Cannon.
Either way most planets are unaffected.

Did I quote you? No, I made a general statement responding to the asinine claim that she wasn’t motivated by self interest her entire life and felt no qualms about screwing over Forest time and time again. I misrepresented nothing of what you said. Get over yourself.

It's a common tale, those that are abused often become abusers, it's all they know.
I don't think she was a villain, she was someone that needed extreme treatment for the trauma she lived through and caused. It's kinda sad we reduce these people to some villain meme.
