Yeah, none of the BIPOC in the house have even tried to play the race card yet, and the "strong black guy" is the one that threw the "confident black woman" under the bus ensuring that she will get voted out. And there has been several comments that they are not going to even try to recreate the Cookout (not sure if production warned them not to do it before the game started).

The person that is most worried about putting up 2 black noms is Daniel (I wonder if production hinted to it during one of his DR sections), but he is going to do it anyway. Monte told him to not even worry about it, and that basically he had his back on it. Daniel did mention it to Paloma also, and it might've gotten into her head a little too. She was saying that Terrence should be the next target because he has no allies, but that she could see how it might look back for two black players to go back to black. But other than that, the actual BIPOC players aren't even fretting about it.

Speaking of Paloma, when I say that she is cracked, I mean popping 5 Adderalls at once kind of cracked. I am flabbergasted that everyone in the house still loves her. She would be freaking me out if I was living with her. She is telling people that she has hacked and checkmated (she used both words) the game. She said that she knows they can't share the money, but that when she wins she is going to "invest" in them (not sure why she thinks invest and sharing money are different things).

Paloma to Monte- I literally found a way to hack Big Brother. They are like "you cant split the money". Write me a cheque just to me. As soon as that cheque is written to me, that money is being invested into your businesses #BB24

quote:

Paloma to Monte- Everyone is speaking to me. I know everything. That's why I feel so confident. I can tell you the end game results. I'm at checkmate. Checkmate is me winning the money and investing in all of your guys' businesses #BB24

Paloma to Alyssa- I know we cant share the money, I know we cant split the money, but I tell you I will invest in you because I believe in you. $750,000 is not mine, it's all of ours #BB24

How would CBS know what a winner chooses to do with the money once it's been given? I totally get from a show's point of view you don't want the final handful of people bartering and negotiating with each other every comp "if you save me and I win I'll give you [$X]!!" So I get that they could/should outlaw that kind of thing during the game. But once the game is over and it's all said and one and over with, why do they care how a winner spends it? And how would they enforce somethign like that?

I guess if there is something in the contract that says that they can sue if they catch wind of it, but they'd have to catch wind of it first. But I'm pretty sure players have bought gifts for castmates before (I'm pretty sure Derrick has said he hooked Cody up with some stuff after their season).

But the rules say that if you make a money deal with a player while in the game as strategy, production is supposed to make the rest of the house aware of it. I remember during BB18, James and Nicole agreed to share (between them, Corey and Natalie) the money if they won, and production made them make a statement to the rest of the house that the are not allowed to offer money or gifts to other houseguests. Here is a link that details that incident: LINK

I'm not even watching this season but I'd be willing to bet that she won't even make jury. What a stupid thing to say...especially since it isn't even true. You'd have a better shot at "hacking the game" by giving BJs to whoever is working the DR.

Any time. Smart play seems to be to see how the season plays out before investing too much time in it but you do you.

But I'm just basing that on having watched the show for the first 16 seasons or so. I'm sure that it's only gotten better since then.

Don't really watch the feeds, but Twitter seems to suggest Paloma is losing it. If you go too hard too fast in this game you go home early.

Head of Household Daniel has went with the will of the house and put Taylor on the block.

Daniel’s true target this week was Michael but the attorney from Minnesota won the Power of Veto over the weekend saving himself at today’s ceremony.

Taylor joins bus driver Terrance as this week’s nominees, however, there is still the matter of the Backstage twist and the America’s Vote to save either Alyssa, Brittany or Paloma. That also could affect the final nominations.

Bingo. Paloma outside of gaming herself into a mental breakdown seemed jealous AF that Taylor was broing out with the guys and not hanging out with the girls. There's game reasons that bad, but Paloma is a 22 year old and for sure was letting jealousy not game run her emotions.

She's been going on for 2 days now how that she's in some sort of inception type of simulation. That is all she has been talking about. This girl either has some serious manic type mental issues, or she is carrying out a prolonged acting job for the cameras.

Here is some more of her ramblings:

quote:

michael and taylor listen to paloma question reality

paloma: michael, are you contemplating the simulation? what are your thoughts? no, i'm serious. i'm fricking serious.

michael: i don't know!

paloma: okay, so you're like, "this is not a simulation. we're in big brother." you haven't questioned if you're lucid dreaming or inception in here?

micahel: no, not in here. i want to believe this is real.

paloma: you're the only rational brain then. i think some of us are really convinced so continue.

michael: oh, i don't know. just...

taylor: i remember the sunlight walking in so it has to be real, right?

michael: yeah.

paloma: the sunlight is the only reminder that this is real at this point, because there's too much weird shite going on. i'm like talking into the mics now. [alyssa hands paloma a plate of food] oh, and she's perfection. this is a fricking dream. look, she brought me a fricking sandwich. i'm hungry and then bloop! oh! look, she cut it in half so cutely! like life is too good right now. if we're lucid dreaming, hell, i don't want to leave. everyone's so goddamn nice.

michael: in college for my ethics credit, i took a course called contemporary moral issues. one of the things we talked about was if you are living your entire life in a situation where your body's laying somewhere but your mind is in this utopia, a perfect world, do you think that's a fulfilling life?

paloma: you know what you're talking about? the metaverse is pissed at us right now. you're talking about the fricking metaverse, and we're about to take down bitcoin, the metaverse, the whole goddamn world with this experiment. what you're talking about is the metaverse and we are a social experiment that probably saved humanity from the fricking metaverse because that shite's scary as frick. it scares the shite out of me. we're dying to escape reality.

michael: for me, i think what makes like fulfilling for someone is personal to them, and i truly believe that i've lead this incredible life even if my body is laying somewhere.

paloma: that's it. that's like believing in god. honestly, i'm gonna believe in god. firstly, i'm a deep devoted christian at this point. i'm so in a simulation right now. i was so skeptical. i'm here to tell you guys... i don't know what my point in this was. -

Paloma to Brittany in the bathroom

"You wanna know the essence of the game? Descartes has possessed my body. The thousand year old philosopher. I'm not even kidding. I'm serious. So this is coming from Descartes, it's not even coming from me. It's a weird dream we're having right now. But none the less, listen, his motto is "Cogito ergo sum" I HOPE - it is, it is I'm pretty sure. What it means is that what I know is that I know nothing. And that is what this game is about." 9:01 PM CDT, July 11th
