So what happened with the old people. I realize Jimmy felt bad about the way he handled it and sacrificed himself. So did they still settle or not? Or did they settle and jimmy doesn't take his cut, or everything stayed the same as if he was going to get paid?

S01E06 "Five-O"
Mike's closing scene with his daughter-in-law is the most powerful scene in BCS hands down. Top 3 in the BB/BCS realm. But the Chuck scene last night should be considered as well due to the overall importance it'll play for Jimmy and the whole BCS show.

Gale dying at the end of S3 of BB is the most powerful scene of television I've ever seen. TV has never made me shed tears. Except that scene.

*Gayle. And yes, the last 2 episodes of season 3 were amazing. Walt in the Aztec then Gayle begging for his life.

Awe damn. Yeah his name was Gale.

They didn't specifically show whether they settled it or not, but Jimmy's conversation with Erin (the chubby chick from Davis & Main) implied that the old women would be back on board with the lawsuit instead of settling.
So no, Jimmy isn't going to get paid anytime soon, but still will get paid when the lawsuit is over.

That was Ozymandias good last night. Hoping BCS gets two more seasons and they get better and better like BB. Just rewatched BB and I love the Saul character more knowing where he came from. Really do love this world that Gillagan has made.

No, now Irene is pissed at Jimmy so she's not settling. So now the old ladies are friends again; and may never see a penny.
Honestly, this season ending episode was a letdown. Chuck burning down his house with the lantern was the obvious storyline, and Hector had his stroke right on cue. And no Mike at all? I'm reaching the conclusion that a series about Mike would have been much more interesting.

Last nights episode was legitimately one of the best episodes of television in any capacity I've seen in a while. It's intensity was Breaking Bad level. Just a superb job to end an excellent season

I wouldn't go that far, but it was great. Ozymandias was a solid hour of high emotion. Between the desert scene, the living room scene, and the phone call there were no breaks in the emotion.

The fact that it bothers you so much that people would want to talk about theories about a fictional TV show says a lot about your personality.
It doesn't. This one just is poorly contrived.

Not really, you are just being too thick headed to acknowledge that there are plenty of red flags. The fact that his loan out is named after her dad's favorite movie should make a person wonder if he even picked the name.
The fact that the name Wexler means "money changer" is also one hell of a coincidence I guess.

No reason to show Mike at this point, except some unnecessary appearance of him standing around with Gus and Nacho.

Thats what I thought. Thanks

Jimmy dated the time frame of the series last night when he was getting a movie ready and said "Movie Fest 2003" or something like that. What "year" did Breaking Bad start? Just trying to figure out the timeline between the 2 shows at this point.

Walt's birthday in the pilot is September 28, 2008.

As for the Better Call Saul timeline, Jimmy gets a check dated May 13, 2002 in the pilot episode.
So basically the first three seasons are about 1 year of timeline. At some point we're going to have to have a huge time jump in the series.

They actually dated it a couple of episodes ago when Kim wrote the check to Hamlin. It was March 2003, so we are 5 1/2 years from Walt's birthday party.
