Real Genius for me, hands down.
It reminded me of college, my friends and acquaintances, and the general vibe. I went off to a private college where almost everyone was very smart and ambitious yet also odd, quirky, different. Everyone studied hard and played hard. The dorm environment was a lot like Real Genius. We also spent countless hours in the lab.
I still watch Real Genius every now and then and it feels so nostalgic.

Real Genius is the better movie. Nerds is more of a classic, though.
