My personal favorite is "The trouble with Trillions" which featured Mr Burns in his greatest performance. The US was going to send funds to the allies after the war, so fly a trillion dollar bill to them. Of course, they entrust Mr Burns and it never arrives. Which causes the Allies to get angry, so they agree to "act snooty to the Americans" from now on.
When he escapes with the trillion dollar bill after the FBI was onto him. He starts looking for an island to buy with the money.
