Definitely, Rex Banner was great.

My personal favorite is "The trouble with Trillions" which featured Mr Burns in his greatest performance. The US was going to send funds to the allies after the war, so fly a trillion dollar bill to them. Of course, they entrust Mr Burns and it never arrives. Which causes the Allies to get angry, so they agree to "act snooty to the Americans" from now on.

When he escapes with the trillion dollar bill after the FBI was onto him. He starts looking for an island to buy with the money.
quote:

Burns:Look Smithers! That island has freedom written all over it.
Smithers: Thats Cuba, sir.

Before he arrives, Castro is about to call to surrender to the US, which produces the greatest exchange in Simpsons history:
quote:

Fidel Castro: Comrads, our nation is completely bankrupt! We have no choice but to abandon communism!
Castro's Aide #1, Castro's Associates: [sigh]
Fidel Castro: I know, I know, I know... but we all knew from day one this mumbo jumbo wouldn't fly! I'll call Washington and tell them they won.
Castro's Aide #1: But presidente, America tried to kill you!
Fidel Castro: Ah, they're not so bad. They even named a street after me in San Francisco!
[Aide #2 whispers something into his ear]
Fidel Castro: It's full of what?

The Johnny Cash chili pepper episode.

Hurricane Neddy.

The one where they ride the rails with that hobo:

Hobo: all the best things in life have apples - apple brandy, apple vodka, apple martinis, apple schnapps

Lisa: and applesauce

Hobo: hmmm, yeah, I suppose you could smash some pills up in it

I was just about to say that one.

On of my favorite marge quotes ever...

Homer: But how did you find me?
Marge: Well, I was sure you'd be on foot, because you always say public transportation is for losers. And I was sure you'd head west, because Springfield slopes down that way. And then, I saw the lighthouse, and I remembered how you love blinking lights. Like the one on the waffle iron.
Homer: Or that little guy on the "Don't Walk" sign.

best lionel hutz line ever

'Well, he's kind of had it in for me ever since I accidentally ran over his dog. Actually, replace "accidentally" with "repeatedly," and replace "dog" with "son."
