I think my favorite all time was the one where they find Mr. Burn's childhood teddy bear (can't remember the episode name). All from this episode:

64 slices of american cheese

Much worse duty

and of course...

I'm Mr. Burns, blah, blah, blah

Camp Krusty is my favorite.

"You Christmas hams are going to hang until you drip"

"Hey Simpson...tell your mom her cookies sucked."

I always held the 22 Short Stories episode in high regard. I'll go out on a limb and say that the Skinner and Chalmers "Steamed Ham" skit is one of the best sequences of the series, definitely a classic.

Skinner: It's a local reference
Chalmers: From where
Skinner: Upstate New York
Chalmers: Well I'm from Utica.

So many greats.

I've always loved the episode where Bart and Lisa are the news anchors for the School TV show. "Crazy Cat Lady" makes her first appearance here.

This is also the episode where Homer gets Mojo, the helper monkey.

Isn't that the one where Bart does the series on the declining duck population, and they cut to Smithers and Burns watching it?

Burns: Smithers, do you think maybe our toxic nuclear waste caused the death of these ducks?

Smithers: Uhhh, there's no 'maybe' about it, sir.

Burns, wiping a tear from his eye: "Excellent".

Simpson and Delilah - the episode where Homer gets hair and a promotion.

Smithers: You know, sir, accidents decreased by exactly the number that Simpson himself is known or suspected to have caused last month. And our output level is just as high as during Simpson's last vacation.

Two words:

Frank Grimes

Probably in the top 3 simpsons characters all time. Homer's only true declared enemy, Grimey will always be missed.

The first Halloween, or Treehouse of Horror episode was the one with James Earl Jones' reading of The Raven.

speaking of james earl jones,

another favorite of mine is when he plays bleeding gums murphy and at the end he shows up in the clouds as murphy, simba, darth vader, and himself saying 'this is CNN', funny shite right there.

The Cape Fear spoof was another great one.

Most, if not all of the Sideshow Bob episodes are damn good.
