Almost 8 year old and a 4 year old. Help me out with some recommendations for family friendly movies to watch.

Princess Bride, Goonies. Or do you want animated movies?

Doesn't really matter. Animated is fine but we've probably watched most of those already. Trying to think of some of the good ones from the 80's and 90's but newer suggestions would be great too.

My 3 year old will sit and watch Sonic the Hedgehog if yall haven't seen that yet. My 8 year old loves it as well.

It was entertaining form the the wife and I as well. So... that would be my recommendation.

Sorry. I can’t help much there. I don’t have kids and was just thinking of movies I enjoyed at that age

Here are free TV services - Pluto and TUBI that have family movies. If you have an HDMI cable for computer to TV, Roku or Firestick you can watch these on your TV.

Pluto has Mouse Hunt, All Dogs go to Heaven 1 & 2, Care Bears and Hey Arnold and many, many more. If the link goes to the front page just click the "on demand tab" at the top right of the page and then select "family" on the left side. Go to the end of the row of family movies and select the "view all".

TUBI website: I have watched shows/movies on Pluto because of their channels. Not as familiar with TUBI but it has a lot of free content. If it doesn't open to family movies, choose the "family" selection using the three bars at the top left of the page.

Here is another free site that has most if not all of the movies listed in this thread. I checked two posts with multiple movies and they were all there.

Another free movie site

This one has ads that will open in a new tab and you will be on that page. Just close them and make sure you are on the 123 page/website.

These are all movies/series uploaded and shared by the site's users. It has an extensive database of series and movies.
