Goodbye Louisiana (1982)

A documentary on soil erosion caused by engineering tMS River.

I saw this a few years later. All I recall is Burt Lancaster as the narrator, & the mayor of Morgan City being interviewed, while Lancaster says the Mayor 'is convinced Morgan City will be sacrificed to save New Orleans."

Should they do that? Or maybe vice versa?

Check it out & see if anything has improved since then.

Guy does random tour of Lafayette area food (sponsored heavily by Tabasco)

It's pretty cool if only to say "I've been there"

"No Man's Land" is done quite well.
I actually wish it had been more in depth....

There is one called Dancing to New Orleans. It covers various regional music genres in LA. Pretty sure it is on YouTube now.

I really enjoyed this:

Atchafalaya Houseboat

Its about a couple that moved to the basin and lived a pretty primitive lifestyle for a while.

just gotta skip through the pledge drive stuff.

First one I thought about and glad someone already mentioned it. Nice easy watch, beautiful scenery and the young lady it focuses on was one hell of an adventurous soul to live that life.
