In the 90s before HBO went series/miniseries they did movies. They did Late Shift, Pentagon Wars, Mcmartin Trial, Conspiracy among others.

My favorite was Pentagon Wars with Kelsey Grammar and Cary Elwes. What was yours?

The documentary Paradise Lost is probably my favorite. Parts 2 and 3 are pretty good.

Mommy Dead and Dearest was awesome too.

Barbarians at the Gate.

Outstanding movie about the late 80's leveraged buyout of RJR Nabisco and the smokeless cigarette. The scenes with the cigarette are priceless.
One of James Garners best roles. You should check it out if you have not seen it.
