I asked if there was video evidence to support the tweet. That was asking about the validity of the story, was it not? But, if it makes you happy, I'll play by the arbitrary rules you just made up. As I stated, I didn't know this X poster, never seen or used it before, so I had nothing to go on which suggested it was fake. And let's not pretend that a lot of non legacy media in fact do get things right.
I made the update, even unliked the post on X.

You post a fake story that had several red flags that it was fake
People question it
You are a dick to them for questioning it
You finally go vet it yourself after others showed it was fake
You are a dick to those who showed you it was fake
You commend yourself for finally vetting the post, something you should do before posting it here. Then you act like we should be grateful to you for showing that the post was fake, even though others already did that.
Seek help baw. Or you know, you can just say, “whoops, I fricked up here. Sorry.”
If your algorithm is feeding you these types of stories, that should tell you something about your habits.

No one SHOWED it was fake. I did that. Some stated outright it looked fake, but gave no evidence. No support.
And no, it's not MY HABITS that are in question. The algorithm is designed to step outside of what you look at to force engagement. It almost never defaults to what I follow, but instead offers 'for you' shite I never asked for.
