I feel like if a story is legitimate, it doesn't need the "MAKE THIS GO VIRAL ON X. LET’S GO". That's probably a good measurement for validity (outside of this story not really being anywhere else of note).

Once i saw that was a signature part of EVERY SINGE POST on that page, I realized it too. 
100%, that's click bait and cringe.
The tiny caveat I have is that in looking up info on Dodgeball 2, Ben Stiller isn't 'on board' as of yet, with Vince Vaughn seemingly at the helm of it all. Doesn't mean anything, with schedules and such, but it's something.

I know Stiller took a few years off in front of the camera until recently (last couple of years). Could just be he’s ready to move on from that.
But I’m also in the mindset of the original still stands up and I don’t know that it needs a sequel.

Stiller has seemed to chill a bit since his parent's passing, but was notorious for years for being a terrible person and awful to work with. So no surprise there that others have had enough.
