Bear Grylls is composed of 99% of the worlds manhood...once you take chuck norris out of the equation

Bear starts with a flint and strike and a knife

and as to receiving aid

quote:

Bear Grylls and the crew receive support when they are in potentially life threatening situations, as required by health and safety regulations. On some occasions, situations are presented to Bear so he can demonstrate survival techniques. Professional advice should always be sought before entering any dangerous environment.

stroud bring strange stuff with him and his only purpose is to survive for 7 days before he gets picked up

bear's purpose is to demonstrate how to get out of that situation, not solely to survive, he actively tries to find a way out while doing crazier shite than stroud

for me...Bear Grylls

Survivorman by a mile. Man vs wild is scripted and staged while survivorman is exactly what you see. This is not to take anything away from Bear but contrived can never trump real,

Plus its easy to accept being cold and wet when you know you'll be spending the night in a warm hotel bed rather than sleeping under a tree surrounded by snakes, alligators and the rest of the wild kingdom.

I thought this conversation seemed familiar. I know at one time I took the other side of the arguement. Most of the time, I don't know what I really believe about anything. My mother, brother, and girlfriend had a talk with me on Christmas Day about how they felt I always took the opposing side to everything they said. Of course I told them they were fricked in the head.

Is anyone gonna make an argument towards why stroud is better than grylls though? Doesnt appear so...grylls' crew contributes to his ratings which is why everyone agrees its a better show and thats it stop talking about it...Someone touched on it earlier though stroud has guns, fishing poles, flashlights, tents, batteries - whats the definition of camping exactly?

lol to everyone that would take Les with them have fun not ever eating. I swear by the end of every one of his shows he hasn't eaten anything. The fricker would be dead if he went past seven days just for the fact he can't ever find food.

Speedy, Bear's show is more popular, the camera crew gives them better shots, shots that they couldn't get without a crew. At the end of the day it's a TV show. It doesn't, in any way, take away the fact that Bear knows more, can do more and is superior.

Bear is basically explaining to you what to look for, and what to do. Les' show could be better if he had a crew, he can't do some of the stuff (if he can in fact do it, idk) that Bear does because he doesn't have to hold a camera and worry about breaking it and shite like that.
