So far Ben's scenes have looked off to me. This spot, however, was pretty freaking awesome. Finally we have some hope IMO.

I think the marketing has been pretty bad, but I still have hope that it'll surprise us.

The marketing has been awful. This should be an epic movie and just doesn't feel that way.

I really want to be hyped about this but I've got an awful feeling.

I'm not a comic book guy at all, but why are they setting klark up to be some anti hero? Is this a special story arc or something?

Affleck will be great as Batman. The marketing for this movie has been poor, but I'm excited for the actual movie..

Ok. If superheroes decided to go to fight every super powered being with the power to destroy the human race if there was a 1% chance he/she/it would be bad or go bad they would be doing nothing but fighting each other 24/7.

Well look at it this way... Superman is the first "super-powered" being of his kind in the cinematic DC universe. How would humanity respond? Batman?

It's a stupid story. DC is going about creating the justice league the wrong way.

Find out if he was a good guy or a bad guy? Talk to him maybe? Check out his past actions? See what his values are?

If it piece together all the trailers you can probably see 15-20 minutes of the movie.

Stop fricking putting these trailers out.

There better be some massive payoff in this movie. And a little teaser at the end for Bizarro or another villain is not a payoff.

However, the revel that Eisenberg is Luthor's dipshit son and Lex shows up midway through the movie, beats the shite out of him, and takes his role as super villain would be amazingly epic.

I'm still going to see the movie the day it comes out, but the marketing and trailers for this movie have been the worst I can remember for a long time.

How?

His literal only past actions are taking place in a massive fight that leveled a city and almost destroyed a world. No other actions.

There is alot wrong with this movie in the marketing and trailers, but the "why would batman and Superman ever fight" rhetoric is so dumb. It's a solid grounded story arc in the comics and it makes slots of sense based on Batman.

It's like yall think everyone always fights. Batman comes to an agreement with Superman and they found the Justice League. The whole movie isn't just them in a fist fight.

Avengers were born out of threats from traditional enemies/bad guys. Straightforward comic book storytelling.

I think DC Justice League could have gone that route, but are heading down a everyone fighting everyone and in the chaos, different evils emerge. Makes the JL more fragile and volatile. Keeps people on the edge of their seats.

Of course it will lessen the impact of they keep fighting, whereas now Marvel is blowing our minds with Civil War where the good guys turn shades of grey.

I disagree. Batman is a paranoid psychotic who would never just freely give a destructive alien the benefit of the doubt. Their interaction and conflict will be meaningful.

Superman is also driven to do things by the book and the "right" way, whether that's inherent, due to him coming of age from the destruction/death in MOS, or a combination of both. He isn't going to let some man "terrorize" a city even if they are criminals.

Oh. You were being literal. I think people won't like a film that just moves the story from fight to fight which could be what happens. Throw in that the two good guys think each other are bad guys, and you're just begging for a terrible story set around two of the most iconic superheroes.
