I just started my annual re-watch. I enjoy it more than any show or miniseries ever made.

Fanfrickingtastic.

For me it's in a different category. There is nothing else I really compare it to.

That is the reason I HATE Band of Brothers. I can't watch a single episode and stop at that. I've had the freakin' DVD set for over a decade now...and now with streaming.

Fine line between love and hate...guess I'll probably turn on Currahee when I get home now. Thanks a lot for reminding me. 3 miles up, 3 miles down mf-ers. Damnit...

ETA...sarcasm sometimes doesn't come out well in print. BOB is my favorite series in the history of TV. But I really do wind up binge watching every time I see it.

Single best piece of television programming ever produced. Hands down.

This miniseries deserves every bit of praise it receives.

The one negative for me, is that it totally ruins any new war movie for me. Those I had already seen, I can still enjoy (Midway, Tora Tora Tora, Patton, etc); but I wasn't able to finish Pacific, and I think it really lessened the enjoyment of things like Fury etc.

The attention to detail, and the character acting ... amazing.

BoB is, to me, the pinnacle of what story telling on celluloid can and should be. It is exhilarating and poignant, personal and wide reaching, beautiful, stark, and filled with the raw reality of war, being a young man and dealing with despair. It is incredibly well written, well acted, well directed and well shot. If it were a film, it would be a best picture winner. There are almost no weak spots in it.

I agree with everyone above - BoB is the best hands down. But another of my favorites is Hatfields & McCoys

Can't argue with that.

For me, the only thing that is close is Lonesome Dove.

Heck, I'd say even if you go beyond mini series to movies, t.v. series, etc. I'd put those two up there.

Wahlberg Interview

This is emblematic of the respect the actors had for Easy Company.
