My guess is that they kill a select few characters in part one, but no one too major. In part two, they kill a lot of characters, particularly in the second act, but in the denouement, either Adam Warlock (introduced in GotG2 stinger) or Dr. Strange uses the stones to raise everyone back from the dead. Or more likely, undo some of Thanos' actions via the time and reality gems.
Then, the resurrected characters, which will surely include Cap and Iron Man in this scenario, go off into retirement. Thus releasing Chris Evans and RDJ from their contracts, yet still allowing them to appear in cameos and maybe in the eventual reboot, handing off the role.
But that's getting ahead of ourselves. This looks awesome, but still no Captain Marvel.

I will give DC one thing though, every single one of their films has been different.

Different than good? You are correct. (Except Wonder Woman).

Can we keep the DC bullshite out the thread.
Let's just collectively agree to ignore these asshats.

Marvel just gets it. Releases trailer at 7 AM and instantly makes everyone's day epic.
I would tell DC to wait till the end of the day so they don't ruin everyone's day with disappointment

Will it be this movie or the next one that we finally get Spider-Pig?
He has to wait his turn. They haven't even introduced Throg yet.

Oh yes, please do enlighten us on how CA:WS = Ant-Man = Dr. Strange = Spider Man = Thor: Ragnarok

I just realized now the Promo Poster tells us which sets each hero will be at.
Works perfectly with the trailer.
edit: Notice no Heimdall or orange glow for the Soul Stone.

That’s the main reason why the latter movie franchise has me fatigued.

I thought I remember reading something here about one of the directors/producers saying Adam Warlock would be a post Infinity War introduction?
edit: I would be down for some AW but it wouldn't match the THANOS theme that clearly was easter egged over the past 8 years.

Totally get it, but you could also debate that with this:

I never noticed that giant red circle on his helmet before.

I still think they introduce it in Black Panther
