Shows they know Solo will suck, and they want to move this movie as far away as possible from it.

This seems awfully late to be making such an adjustment.

That's a pretty awesome marketing move right there

That's it. The Fantastic Four are in this movie.

Deadpool 2 must be tracking well and they want to give themselves an extra week to make money. The last couple of Fast and Furious movies have done well from this same spot.

It'd be awesome, but into todays media with no leaks? C'mon.

Was the first thing that came to mind. Deadpool will be a juggernaut box office wise. The first movie just scratched the surface of his box office power.

I'd love to see Fox move Deadpool up a week, just to troll Disney

Eh, IW is going to make all the money either way.

Ultron made nearly $100 million more domestically than Deadpool. Black Panther is well on it's way to doing that as well. They aren't scared of Deadpool.

If anything this is Disney thinking Rampage will bomb hard when it opens the week before on 4/20.

Deadpool was also rated R. False equivalency.

IW will make more than Deadpool 2 overall but they were worried about the second week drop off. Now they have two weeks unopposed to make money.

Is Infinity War still supposed to be split in two movies? I remember hearing that it wasn't but i just have a hard time believing they will be able to bring all of these characters together and then beat thanos all in one movie.

Not really. Deadpool being rated R actually gives them less to worry about TBH.

Again, the month of April is damn near empty when it comes to big tent pole movies. Ready Player One opens March 29 and it's not until April 20 that there is another big budget flick comes out in Rampage. LINK

Disney is looking at that month and thinking there is zero competition so they may as well take advantage.
