UVERSE TV is a joke
i work in the TV business and they are widely known as the lemon in the industry
DIRECTV and Fios always have the highest ratings

If the problem is still going on when I get home, this will be the first issue I have ever had with Uverse.

Uverse in my parents' neighborhood has been having major troubles over the past month. Their's was down for a day and they had some neighbors whose service was out for multiple days. And any time you try to DVR something, the recording is filled with major lockups and is pretty much unwatchable. Frequent (though brief) internet outages as well.

Just texted wife. She said ours is working. I've only had it for 3 months and besides the internet sucking, it's been pretty solid so far.

How does the internet suck??? Mine has always run great.

I've never had a problem with uverse. TV or internet. 1.5 years.

I've only had one problem with the DVR not working on uverse and a reboot solved it. Other than that it has been great, I got it about 14-15 months ago. Far less issues and outages and picture freezes than Cox had.

Besides the price, I would say that UVerse was great while I had it.
Never had any problems.

you can search twitter and see it, aka where to actually get quick updates
but it is back now...the customer service line crashed as well
ETA this is where it was out

The map is based on complaints submitted. I can confirm that Nashville is down as well, although the map would not indicate as such.

It's fine if I'm in the same room as the modem but if I'm in my office it constantly loses connection and never gets a full signal.

on their twitter they're saying some sort of power outage caused all the national channels to go out

I had TNT on this morning for the dog, no problems that I could tell.
UVERSE is the best around here where I live. It is expensive AF though.

Uverse is a fiber modem, and the signal travels over copper on the final leg to most houses, which causes a lot of problems. Plus the NVG10 modem is a POS, as explained to me in technical terms by the ATT guy who came to my house
