She looks cold in that second pic.

way to bring Oliver into the Green Arrow persona, I won't be upset.
So I am not familiar with the comic books. How is that persona different from who he is now?

Probably shouldn't watch a comic book show?
I'm ok with suspending belief. It has just caught me off guard that it started out as fairly based in reality and took a sudden turn to into the supernatural. I've had no trouble with the Meta human stuff in Flash because that is how it started out. I guess I just need to accept that they changed directions and go with it. I can do that. I really like these shows and it is the one thing my wife and I watch together.

Green Arrow is more like the Flash than Batman personality-wise

It seems that they started out wanting a Nolan's Batman kind of world. Then as the TV universe expanded and Flash came on board they decided to go a different route. That makes sense since there are so much interactions between the shows. I can roll with it because it is a lot of fun having the crossovers.
However, I will never be ok with penicillin tea healing a massive chest wound and a 3 story fall. The Olisity romance bothers me far less than that.

I hear that. If it makes you feel better check out the screenshots where the stab wound moved to a less lethal area after the winter break.

I still don't know why they didn't introduce the pits with Oliver being revived with them. Seemed like the perfect place to not only to introduce them to the fans, but also would've been more believable than Katana nursing him back to health with some tea (and that's saying a lot when using the Lazarus Pits is a more believable option
).

I'm with you man. The story wrote itself. They had to try hard screw that up.
Did the fans see the pit revival coming? Yes.
Did we want it anyway? Yes!

Good news everyone!
Season 4 will take a lighter tone.
Season 4 will take a lighter tone.
quote:
It will take a lighter tone. That’s pretty much the only thing I say without spoiling it," Guggenheim said. "We’ve been working for about a month now in the writers’ room, talking about Season Four, and I think that one thing we all collectively understood was Season Three beginning with Sara’s death, because it’s the death of a major character on the show, it set a tone for the remainder of the season. And I’m not the least bit apologetic for that tone. I happen to like dark and I like the fact that Arrow is a pretty dark show particularly for a network show. That said, every year you want to mix things up and there was sort of a collective desire on all of our parts to try to inject a little bit more lightness into the show, a little bit more humor. It’s not going to radically change. The show’s still going to be the show but in terms of tone we’re coming off a very very hard season for all of our characters. We wanted to try to mix it up a little bit."

I wouldn't mind so much if Felicity left the show. At the very least I hope they make her act like fun Felicity everyone liked. With another spinoff coming out I don't know how they're going to make 3 shows good at once if they couldn't make 2.

I like her, she keeps the hot-nerd girl persona alive. I'd like for Theia to go away, just don't like her and all she does is screw up Ollies world by being a target. Shes a poor mans Mila Kunis that can't even act at a That 70's Show level.
This story would have done a lot better had they simply forced Oliver to go to Nanda PB and take over as the Ras about half way through the season. Given a lot more time for the whole betrayal plot device, allow for Nyssa to attempt to kill him a few more times before eventually falling for him,, that kind of thing.
It's like they really put no effort into it at all and just passed it off to some noob writer that was learning on the job.

yea that sounds like a really bad idea, a more personable Oliver is not what the show needs, it worked well because of his dark, brooding side and vengeful nature, if I had to bet, I'd bet they're going to screw this up royal.

But it falls in line with the comic persona of "Green Arrow".

I used to really like her until all this Olicity crap. Maybe I'll like her again if she reverts back to her old fun self instead of this Oliver obsessed one.
In regards to Theia, I think they're too many heroes for just one city now so making her go away would make sense.

As many people have stated, it might be due to having to work on The Flash series. They probably putting more effort into The Flash to make a good first impression. Hopefully they can turn it around especially with Legends of Tomorrow coming up as well.

Theia is my least favorite character in the entire series. The first two seasons were all about establishing her as this trashy alcoholic drug addict who the audience is supposed to feel sorry for since loosing her brother and father apparently turned her to a life of drugs and alcohol, but you can't feel sorry for her because all she does is whine to Oliver every time she's on screen.
