People raise it to deity status for no real reason. It's funny and unique, but it's not that funny or unique.
My real problem is the characters are annoying as shite. There aren't too many characters in that show that are redeeming in any way. As a result, it's not a good show to watch back to back to back. I find I need to pace myself with it.
