Actually Black said it will not be a complete re-boot but a "inventive sequel that will expand on the existing predator mythology" He has written decent movies(Lethal Weapon 1,2 The Long Kiss Goodnight, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang)and a few stinkers so I'm crossing my fingers on this one.

And agreed on AVP2 being WAAAAAAAY too dark. You could hardly see anything. I remember that being one of my main gripes while watching it. I liked the first one better, but the second one was just trying so hard to be over the top gory and "action-y" and it sort of failed for me. But it was damn sure far too dark.

The predator in AVP2 straight up didn't give a shite. He was killing everyone he saw
