Just finished watching both. Pretty good. I swear I had seen that clip where the mom whale can't defend the baby vs the killer whales though. Awesome soundtrack!

Only watched the first half.

Mustangs part was awesome, as was killer whales grizzlies vs. the baby gray whale.

I've seen something very similar on Blue Planet, but it wasn't the exact clip.

Happens all the time. It's a good thing. They have a 105 mm relic from WWII they use locally on occasion.

North America is very well done. I'm in. The footage is amazing. I'm going to watch it in 3D on my new LG. Nature shows like this fascinate me.

Any coastal area around here, from BC through the Aleutians could have the same thing. Not an uncommon sight to see wolves, bears, orcas and whales within a few minutes.
