I was excited about it, until I saw that it is only on CBS All Access. I loved the 80s Twilight Zone - both the movie and the show.

It pays to be a Star Trek fan.

I'd gladly give shows a chance on regular ota CBS. I'm not paying for an app.

I watched the first episode about the comedian, and it was boring.

Thought the second episode was way better

Was not impressed.

This reboot is no Black Mirror.

oh surprise, lets throw jabs at the president and the 2A and then justify killing off people we don't like.

So edgy

Just finished the first episode. Plot was meh but it was shot really well. I liked the atmosphere of the club. Going to catch ep 2 in a little bit

Edit: think I actually like the first ep better than the 2nd

I’m a huge fan of the classic Twilight Zone. Watched the 1st episode of this new one. Meh. I’d like it to be good but the truth is, Black Mirror has carried on the spirit of the Twilight Zone better than anything else that has come since the original and it probably won’t be topped. I will try additional episodes of the new Twilight Zone in hopes it gets better.

Just finished The Comedian, and I really enjoyed it. The ending was predictable, but was sad for Samir.

How can you view the other episode?
Will Hulu have it tomorrow?

Feels like you missed the point. He was a liberal; he also became a monster, and the narrative judges him harshly for it.

"The Comedian," at almost an hour, was way too long. It repeated the same thing over and over. At 30 minutes this could have been much more enjoyable.

"Nightmare at 30,000 Feet", an update of the classic episode where Shatner sees a gremlin on the wing of the plane, was a blast. It wasn't too long, Adam Scott killed it as a paranoiac, and the modernized hook for the central conflict was pretty cool.

A different writer for each episode means there will be varying quality. Episode 2 was good enough for me to keep going with the first season.

The second episode is on CBS All-Access, CBS' pay streaming app. I don't think it's headed to Hulu anytime soon. Not sure that CBS All-Access is worth the money just for The Twilight Zone, but people say great things Star Trek: Discovery and The Good Fight

I'll give it another shot if I can find that episode.

Anthologies are often up and down.
