Guys...

I appreciate the participation and there's been some good ones mentioned, but (and it is my fault for not being more specific):

a) I am ONLY talking about a 5-6 year period...not 8, not 10, not a career.

b) I am not talking box office per se, but "quality" of work (which is why I did not include The Bodyguard in my listing [and only added Robin Hood grudgingly]).

Why are you being so strict on rules?
Why 5-6 yrs? Why not just say a 10 yr span so it could be a decade?

And who's to judge "box office success vs. Quality"?
If it killed it at the box office it was likely a good movie

It's my fricking thead...

Seriously, shorter period is my point. You pull most "stars" resumes for a decade when they were "hot" and it will be a crowded field.

Box Office does not equal quality all the time.

Great thread. Every time I read a list I thought to myself that it was the best and people kept coming up with some great ones. Costner had a great run but I'm torn between Leo and tom hanks

I liked all toy story movies and even You got mail was entertaining

Waterworld was and always will be awesome. Smokers!!!!

Denzel and Mel Gibson would get my vote. Leo is up there too.
