Just look at that idiot Snow White actress. Or that idiot Star Wars chick who came out with all the woke garbage. Those opinions definitely had a pretty huge affect on their particular products and drove people away from them.

Right, that’s kind of what I mean though. Who actually listened to their opinion and changed their mind about whatever topic they were talking about?

He’s a Louisiana boy and he’s playing Marvel's oldest OG Avenger (even though the character didn’t join til issue 4) so I’m cool with whatever he wants to say. Louisiana boys who make it big can do what they want tbh

It has to be a Disney directive at this point. I can't believe they hire this many people with this many stupid takes. It has to be intentional.

Louisiana loyalty transcends getting your little feelings hurt because man says something that doesn’t fit into your little fragile ideologues tbh tbh tbh.

My buddy works in the industry and on a bunch of Marvel films. He says that Mackie is the biggest a-hole he has met in his 25 years of being in the business.

Ok. So you give him a pass for saying dumb shite bc he is from Louisiana and in your eyes he made it big.

That's fine. A man has to live by his own code. I can respect that.

For the life of me I cannot figure out what was so triggering or insulting or whatever for people about this scene.

It was little hokey, but other than that I just don't see what was so outrageous about it.

He's not though. He's playing the Sam Wilson version of Captain America that debuted in 2014.

Just like Ryan Clark? You do realize there are plenty of stupid people in Louisiana, right? Just because you idolize movie actors, doesn't make them smarter or knowledgeable.

Does captain America change in the comics? I've honestly been confused about the whole different person playing captain America

Easy answer is yes, while Steve Rogers is far and away the most well known Captain America, there have been several characters who have taken up the mantle, some characters we've seen in the MCU and some not.
