I thougt they should have passed on the guy with the weird facial contortions when he sang. I think Harry regretted his change of heart on him.

Looks like im back on the Idol train. HCJ is great and his and Keith's rapport is very refreshing. I like that HCJ is overly critical at times, they need one judge like that. Anyone else notice that if its just one yes, its always Jlo? I think that there are some good ones, but I dont think weve seen the winner yet. Im anxious to see what they are going to do once they get to hollywood to weed out a bunch.

Last night was pretty good until the got to the group stuff. I've never liked that part. I think we lose some good people too early and I don't find it entertaining to watch them fighting with each other and exhausted. It's just not fun to see.

I agree, the group stuff is cringe worthy and I think they get rid of some solid competition. I guess there is a good part to it that it forces people out of their comfort zone. I did enjoy how the on the fence people had to sing for their lives.

Yeah, that part was fine and it moved quickly. I don't get into all the drama of group business. I want to hear them sing. I don't really care how they get it together.

yeah he was on the voice, but they didn't put him through. christina was upset with her decision the moment she turned around.

okay so... Idol should ban all "stage moms". If they aren't going to ban them then they should give them ZERO air time. That woman took all of the attention off of her own kid to get her 15 minutes. And the crew just sits there and lets a grown woman attack one of the contestants.... maybe SHE is the reason her daughter is going home? /rant
the backstreet cowboys were fun...
i really thought the drama queen who was bitching at her group about too much dancing would go home...
I don't get what they see in the gay black guy.
and the guy who i think is one of the judges favorites... the one JLO gets all goo goo eyed over.. he sabatoged his group. He made them sing a song he already knew and then wouldn't practice with them... he should have been sent home for cheating.
ETA: the whole get on the bus but we aren't going to tell you where the bus is going was just cruel and unnecessary... just tell them they are out and put them on the bus...stop trying to create drama.

On the bus part -even though it was kinda mean for the losers, it was a great way to show the winners.

Dez was on The Voice for weeks until voted off as I recall. He sang a lot. I think you missed it. He was on until November competing.

Stage Mom is probably hiding from the public right now. She looked ridiculous and I had no interest in her or any other trauma drama. I think it makes AI cheap like a cheap reality show when they show all of that. I'll be glad when it transforms into singing only.
