Very disappointing season. A couple decent singers, but far from the best season since the first one.

They're all very meh. Rock guy from North Carolina is good, but outside of him, it's pretty terrible. I really want to like dexter, but he's been disappointing so far.

I really like Harry Connick Jr as a judge and his opinions are usually spot on. Keith Urban has gotten a little more critical and comfortable up there with the two Divas gone. Nobody did great this week but hopefully they learned some lessons and will be better next week.

Hat, I'm enjoying the show overall more bc the judges are better. The problem is the kids aren't getting coached or mentored at all or enough. Only a few are comfy on stage. The rest are like deer in the headlights. There are quite a few who showed a lot of talent before the live shows and who are different and interesting, but they haven't gotten over the jitters. Not sure if they will.

Px2 was fun to see tonight, though.

I haven't had the chance to watch last night's show yet. Boy or girl? That's all I want to know

The fake redhead is good looking. Certainly better than the girl that went home last night.

Like I've said before Mmmmkay will be perennial bottom 3 but will keep surviving the next few weeks... I was semi joking that she needs to go Sinead O'connor but for her to have a chance she needs to be that kind of edgy. The modern tom boy look will not do her any favors as the weaker competition is eliminated.

I was disappointed Emily went home as I think she has one of the better female voices of the group. Her downfall has been song choice.

I was glad Jenna didn't see the chairs this week and I'm interested to see her grow as the competition continues. She can be a wildcard this season.

CJ is the weakest of the boys but I have yet to connect with the other flat bill hat dude.

Caleb being Caleb will get him to the top 5 or 6 but HCJ was spot on that he has to bring something new if he continues in the rock genre.

I think she's going sort of Ellen with the dress in a way. I have no idea how she should dress, but she looked somewhat like a munchkin last night or was it the night before or both....

She was in the bottom 3 again...

Caleb is starting to grow on me. He and Majesty are my favorites to win.

finally got to watch the results show. Kind of surprised emily went home. she seemed to be getting beter with time. I thought MK would be the one leaving. But, at least she lost the hat. jeeena not jenna could have gone home and i wouldn't miss her.

Defintely thought CJ wold be bottom 3. But as usual the teen girl voting power keeps the guys safe and eliminates the girls one by one.

would be cool to see caleb and the pink haired girl do a duet...sort of like an ozzy lita ford kinda song.

anybody watching?
Sam Woolf, he was alright.
Jessica was better than last week, but I wasn't wowed.
CJ did good, better than last week.
Dexter started singing Sweet Home Alabama, so I had to mute him. He gets and automatic F.
Ben-kinda karaoke sounding to me
Majesty-EXCELLENT song choice. Pitchy in some parts but overall, I liked it!

I'm behind. Sam was okay bi kept waiting for him to put a big moment in the song where it would fit, but he stayed way too low key. He's improving, but still looks horribly uncomfortable.

I thought I was going to enjoy Jessica's performance when she first started, but she fell flat for me. I didn't like the strange tone or pronunciations of some if it. I don't get that stuff. Pronounce the words and don't put an unnatural twang on them. Didn't work for me.

I like the contestants playing each other. Some are pretty funny.

ETA: well, dayum, now I know I'm going to have to offended by Dexter.

I'll be damn! I really liked CJ. Right song and he sold it. I was believin' it. Miles better than the first two.

I suffered through Dexter's performance. It was low key for that song. He didn't do anything with it and the background singers drowned him out during the chorus.

First of all, I didn't know who Ben was. I thought that performance was just strange. Another one that stayed too low key. I live that song, but I just didn't like his version at all.

I like CJ. He could be converted!

I thought Majesty did a pretty good job, I thought she was too quiet in parts and it looked and sounded very Broadwayish.
